Aliant Payments to Pay Its Employees a Compensation Package in Cryptocurrency

“Being a leader in the crypto and payments space, the Aliant team is always working to educate merchants and lead by example,” said Aliant CEO Eric Brown. “I’m so grateful to work with this amazing team, and I can’t think of a better way to compensate them for the value they bring to our community.”

Aliant Payments, a leading U.S. based provider of merchant services and payment processing, announced today that it will be paying each of its employees part of their compensation package in cryptocurrency. The employees will be paid in a combination of Bitcoin and Litecoin.

“The fintech industry is growing and changing rapidly, and this is a way for our employees to be a part of Aliant’s involvement in this shift to digital currency,” said Aliant CEO Eric Brown. “Each member of the Aliant team now has a vested interest in cryptocurrency not just as something they work on in the office. The more our team utilizes digital currency, the better our customer user experience will be. This benefits Aliant as a company, and our employees as invested customers.”

Aliant became one of the first payment processing companies to offer merchants the ability to accept cryptocurrency payments in September 2017. In July 2018 it announced that it had developed its own domestic, fully compliant solution that processes crypto payments, converts cryptocurrency to USD, and offers merchants next day payouts. Aliant’s payment processing system, called CryptoBucks, mitigates the risk of volatility of cryptocurrencies for merchants, making easier the adoption of cryptocurrencies by anyone.

“Adoption happens when you’re able to earn cryptocurrency, and then go on to spend it,” said Aliant CEO Eric Brown. “Being a leader in the crypto and payments space, the Aliant team is always working to educate merchants, and lead by example. I’m so grateful to work with this amazing team, and I can’t think of a better way to compensate them for the value they bring to our community.”

CosMedical Technologies® Launches Cutting-Edge Sunscreen with Blue Light and Pollution Protection

Ultra Replenishing Sunscreen SPF 40, designed to shield skin from three major sources of environmental damage: UV light, blue light, and pollution.

CosMedical Technologies Announces Launch of Ultra Replenishing Sunscreen

We decided to create a sunscreen that goes beyond SPF.

CosMedical Technologies®, a leading dermatologist-founded global private label skincare provider, released today their Ultra Replenishing Sunscreen SPF 40, designed to shield skin from three major sources of environmental damage: UV light, blue light, and pollution.

Studies have shown that high energy visible (HEV) blue light and environmental pollution play a significant role in premature skin aging. According to recent findings, exposure to HEV light may cause even more short-term and long-term damage to the skin than ultraviolet light. Gina Stabile, CosMedical Technologies® Chief Executive Officer believes the time has come to rethink photoprotection.

“CosMedical is committed to offering medical-grade skincare solutions based on the very latest dermatological science, and the research is clear — in the fight against aging, UV protection just isn’t enough,” says Stabile. “We decided to create a sunscreen that goes beyond SPF.”

An update on the original Replenishing Sunscreen, the reformulated Ultra Replenishing Sunscreen SPF 40 now includes 8% zinc oxide, reef-safe UV-absorbers, and concentrated new actives to deliver enhanced photoprotection and anti-aging benefits. Chief among these is the strongest antioxidant on the market, Lipochroman®, with coverage against all three classes of free radicals. Withania somnifera extract, or White Cherry, offers natural protection against HEV light-related discoloration and dark spots. Firming peptides improve the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and loss of firmness.

Stabile states, “Light damage happens year-round, while pollutants and digitally-emitted blue light are practically everywhere, both indoors and out. Our new Ultra Replenishing keeps you protected through it all for visibly vibrant, younger-looking skin.”

Ultra Replenishing Sunscreen SPF 40 is available to existing customers through their designated CosMedical Technologies® account executive. New accounts may contact the CosMedical Technologies® sales team to place an order or make inquiries.

About CosMedical Technologies®: Founded in 1993 by board-certified dermatologist Loretta Ciraldo, M.D., FAAD, CosMedical Technologies® provides custom label skin care to licensed professionals around the world. A forerunner in the private-label skincare industry, CosMedical Technologies® is known for staying ahead of emerging industry trends, offering a wide range of dermatologist-developed formulas created with advanced ingredients and innovative technology. White Knight Press Releases Full-Color, Detailed Guide Book for Sony RX100 VII Camera

https://www.prweb.com/

Front cover of Photographer’s Guide to the Sony DSC-RX100 VII

Using a tutorial-like approach, the book shows beginning and intermediate photographers how to take still images and record video with the RX100 VII, and explains when and why to use the camera’s many features.

White Knight Press has just released Photographer’s Guide to the Sony DSC-RX100 VII, a full-color, 267-page guide book covering all features and operations of the Sony RX100 VII compact digital camera.

This book is a complete manual for users of the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VII camera, one of the most advanced, but still pocketable, cameras available. With this book, author Alexander White provides users of the RX100 VII with a guide to all aspects of the camera’s operation, including its many advanced settings for autofocus and exposure control. Using a tutorial-like approach, the book shows beginning and intermediate photographers how to take still images and record video with the RX100 VII, and explains when and why to use the camera’s many features.

The book provides details about the camera’s automatic and advanced shooting modes, including continuous shooting at rates as fast as 20 frames per second, with short bursts as fast as 90 frames per second, as well as its numerous menu options for shooting, playback, and setup. The book includes information about using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections for image transfer, remote control, and adding location information to images.

The book has more than 500 color photographs or illustrations that help explain the camera’s menus, shooting screens, and features. These images include examples of photographs taken using the RX100 VII’s Scene mode, with settings optimized for subjects such as landscapes, sunsets, portraits, low-light, and action shots; and the Creative Style and Picture Effect menu options, with settings that alter the appearance of images.

The book also provides introductions to topics such as street photography, astrophotography, and digiscoping, with photographic examples.

The book includes a full discussion of the video features of the RX100 VII, which can shoot HD and 4K (ultra-HD) movies, and which offers manual control of exposure and focus during movie recording. The book explains the camera’s numerous features that are useful for professional-level videography, including Picture Profiles that allow adjustment of settings such as gamma curve, black level, knee, and detail. The book provides detailed information about recording 4K video to an external video recorder using the “clean” video output from the camera’s HDMI port.

In three appendices, the book discusses accessories for the RX100 VII, including cases, power sources, grips, remote controls, and filter adapters, and includes a list of websites and other resources for further information. The book includes an appendix with “quick tips” on how to take advantage of the camera’s features in the most efficient ways possible.

This guide to the RX100 VII includes a detailed index, so the reader can quickly find needed information about any particular feature or aspect of the camera. The book is available from online sellers in both paperback and ebook formats.
