ADHD Lullaby™ makes Billboard’s New Age Album Chart for Twelve Consecutive Weeks

The science and thought process behind this album is one of the most unique, natural, and cost-effective solutions to battling sleep struggles in children with ADHD. It is one of the best ADHD products I’ve come across in my professional career.

ADHD Lullaby™, a first-of-its-kind music album designed to help ADHD children fall asleep, has been listed on Billboard’s New Age Album chart in the Top Ten for twelve consecutive weeks starting on July 13, 2019.

Using a patent-pending music methodology based upon the principles of neuroscience, ADHD Lullaby™ has received positive feedback from families and medical professionals.

“The science and thought process behind this album is one of the most unique, natural, and cost-effective solutions to battling sleep struggles in children with ADHD. It is one of the best ADHD products I’ve come across in my professional career,” stated Dr. Edward Hallowell, M.D., M.Ed.

A Harvard graduate, Hallowell is a board-certified child and adult psychiatrist who is recognized as a pioneering expert in the field of ADD and ADHD. Hallowell co-authored the New York Times best-seller Driven to Distraction and is a highly recognized public figure appearing frequently on Dr. Oz, Oprah, Dr. Phil, Good Morning America, CNN, and 60 Minutes.

ADHD Lullaby™ is available for purchase and streaming worldwide on all the major digital music services including Amazon Music, iTunes, and Spotify. The complete 15-track album is also available for purchase or download at ADHDLullaby.com.

ADHD Lullaby™ was developed by Arizona law enforcement officer Bryan Wisda who was shot in the line of duty in 2016. During his recovery, he learned to play guitar and discovered the music methodology behind the album while trying to help his then ten-year-old ADHD son get to sleep at night.

“The order of the songs, the use of musical tension, each song’s tempo, and root note all serve a specific purpose. When coupled with specific embedded frequencies from neuroscience, these elements help relax the human body and the ADHD brain,” stated Wisda.

An estimated 6.4 million American children are diagnosed with ADHD according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a number that has been increasing steadily since 2003. Sleep struggles is one of the top side effects for children who take ADHD medications.

How To Get Accurate Car Insurance Quotes Online

News Image

“It is possible to get really accurate car insurance quotes. But in order to obtain a high accuracy degree, you must work with complex questionnaires and provide accurate info ”, said Russell Rabichev, Marketing Director of Internet Marketing Company.

Compare-autoinsurance.org has released a new blog post that presents several tips to help drivers get accurate car insurance quotes.

For more info and free car insurance quotes, visit https://compare-autoinsurance.org/tips-getting-accurate-car-insurance-quotes/

Now is easy to compare insurance rates from multiple different insurance providers nationally and locally. After entering details pertaining to his vehicle and driving history, the user will get matched with several companies. Using this type of service, a user can quickly narrow down his search to companies that provide what he is looking for. Find out how to get accurate quotes and get free quotes from http://compare-autoinsurance.org.

  • Determine what policies should be bought. It all starts with knowing what the driver wants to purchase. Besides buying the minimum coverage required by the state, a driver may need additional coverage, depending on his car and budget. People who own new, valuable models, should purchase full coverage. People that do not have a solid health/life insurance coverage, should also consider buying PIP/Medicare insurance. If a person has more than one vehicle, it may be wise to opt for multi-vehicle plans. Also consider bundling policies. This will save drivers a lot of money.
  • Calculate the available budget for premiums. Knowing the exact financial limits will help the driver opt for higher coverage limits, higher deductibles and several add-ons. Online quotes will help drivers design a coverage plan within those limits. Furthermore, the driver can simulate to “pay-in full” and see the total cost of the coverage plan and how much he can save. Typically, the saved money are more than a single monthly premium.
  • Keep relevant documents nearby. This is a must no matter if the person is getting online quotes or via an agent. Furthermore, when an agent comes to inspect the car, he/she will ask for the right documentation. Having the right documents near will help the driver provide correct info about the car’s model and sub-model, existing safety devices and driving history. Keep in mind that online questionnaires may also ask about things like the exact sub-model, including the number of cylinders. Car info and dealership status are extremely important for companies, since they rely of over-time depreciation to determine the Actual Cash Value.
  • Provide realistic annual mileage approximation. Most companies consider 12.000 to be the average annual mileage for a driver. Users are asked to input the annual mileage, by either adding the value, selecting it from a range or providing the approximate daily mileage. Lying to the insurance company will seriously backfire. If a person gets involved in an accident and files a claim, the car will be closely inspected and the true mileage will be discovered.
  • Use complex online questionnaires. It is well-known the fact that a more complex questionnaire will provide better results. A user who fills out a long, in depth survey about the vehicle history, driving history, use of the vehicle, credit history, etc. and he will get a much more accurate quote. Short quote forms, while convenient, fast, and easy to use, will often times be very inaccurate. Spending 5-10 minutes to fill in all the details will be worth the time. Reputable companies create complex questionnaires and rates calculators and the quotes they provide are really accurate.

Compare-autoinsurance.org is an online provider of life, home, health, and auto insurance quotes. This website is unique because it does not simply stick to one kind of insurance provider, but brings the clients the best deals from many different online insurance carriers. CBIC to Introduce an Entry-Level Examination and Additional Method of Recertification

News Image

“The a-IPC will arm those interested in the field of infection prevention and control with the baseline knowledge necessary to pursue a career in infection prevention and control,” said 2019 CBIC President Roy Boukidjian, MSN, PHN, CIC, NE-BC.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), on any given day, approximately one in 31 hospitalized patients contracts at least one healthcare-associated infection (HAI). Infection prevention and control (IPC) professionals are often the first line of defense and as the IPC field continues to grow, so too does the importance of staying up-to-date on evolving IPC best practices.

The Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC) is responsible for developing, implementing and administering the only certification in infection prevention and control that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). CBIC is considered the industry leader in providing a standardized measurement of current knowledge needed for individuals practicing infection prevention and control. The CIC® credential is awarded to healthcare professionals who have demonstrated a mastery of knowledge in IPC.

Beginning in 2020, in addition to the CIC®, CBIC will be offering two new initiatives to further advance its mission to provide pathways to assess and maintain infection prevention competency.

The first is an entry-level pathway, the Associate – Infection Prevention and Control (a-IPC) certification examination. Unlike the CIC®, there are no IPC experience or job-specific requirements to apply. The a-IPC is intended to provide a basic assessment of knowledge in infection prevention and control, and to act as a gateway for individuals interested in entering the field of infection prevention and control. The a-IPC will be valid for three years, at which point candidates would continue on to pursue the CIC® credential to maintain certification.

“The a-IPC will arm those interested in the field of infection prevention and control with the baseline knowledge necessary to pursue a career in infection prevention and control,” said 2019 CBIC President Roy Boukidjian, MSN, PHN, CIC, NE-BC. “It is the perfect stepping stone to prove a candidate’s foundational knowledge, interest and dedication to the field.”

The second initiative is an alternate pathway to the current method of recertification by examination, recertification by continuing education. This method is available to all candidates eligible for CIC® recertification beginning in 2020. CICs who choose to recertify this way must obtain a minimum of 40 Infection Prevention Units (IPUs) and show proof of completion of IP-related academic education, research, publications, presentations, attendance at national conferences, and more.

2019 CBIC President-Elect Linda Goss, DNP, APRN-BC, ANP, CIC, FAPIC, said, “Recertification by continuing education has been a long-awaited option for CICs and the CBIC Board of Directors is excited to make it a reality.”

More information about both initiatives will be published to the CBIC website, social media channels, and email communications in the coming months.

The Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. was founded in 1981 to protect the public by raising the standard of the infection prevention and control profession through the development, administration and promotion of an accredited certification process. The CIC® certification is held by over 7,600 infection prevention and control professionals working in hospitals, long-term care facilities, ambulatory care centers, and other healthcare and public health settings throughout the world. Azuga Selected for First-Ever Road Usage Charge Demonstration in Hawaii

News Image

“We look forward to bringing our secure, driver-centric approach to the residents of Hawaii and to assisting HDOT in assessing possible future funding systems for the unique needs of the state.”

Azuga, the leading global provider of connected vehicle and fleet technologies, announced that it has been selected as the exclusive technology provider for the second phase of the Hawaii Road Usage Charge (HiRUC) Demonstration Project. For Part 2 of the HiRUC demonstration, up to 2,000 participants are expected to sign up for the latter 9-month portion of the 18-month study, which is designed to research the viability of road usage charging as an alternative infrastructure funding system for the state. Part 2 of the HiRUC demonstration project is expected to launch Spring 2020 and will include research from participants using Azuga’s in-vehicle plug-and-play technology when driving on public roads throughout the counties of Hawaii, Maui, Oahu, and Kauai.

The need for alternative funding arises from the decreasing transportation funds, which have been predominantly provided by revenue from a per-gallon gas tax. As more and more vehicles on the road are fuel-efficient and fuel-independent, the state funds used to build, maintain, and improve public roads have flattened and will decline. Many state governments are seeking revenue alternatives as a means to protect their infrastructure investment, and some are investigating road usage charging (RUC) as a promising solution. RUC pilots have been completed across the United States and are currently active on the East Coast and in Oregon. Recently, the legislators of the State of Utah signed RUC into mandate as a long-term funding system solution.

In Hawaii, each county has its own gas tax in addition to the state gas tax. Furthermore, the state is sustainability minded. “Hawaii and its counties have a commitment to a clean energy future, including transforming Hawaii’s ground transportation to 100-percent renewable fuel sources by 2045,” said Ging Ging Fernandez, the HiRUC Project Manager with D’Artagnan Consulting, a specialized firm hired by the Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) to manage the project. “HiRUC is an opportunity to advance the state-of-the-practice of road usage charging policy and technology possibilities.”

Part 2 of the HiRUC demonstration will evaluate methods of mileage collection and, unique to other RUC programs, it will utilize Azuga’s advanced public versus private road differentiation for accurate assessment of only public road use. Charges will be simulated for the project, and no real money will be collected. Azuga will provide three mileage reporting methods (MRMs) including location-enabled and non-location enabled OBDII devices, which can be plugged into most vehicles’ diagnostics port under the dashboard. Participants utilizing these devices may also opt in to Azuga’s convenient, premium services such as diagnostic trouble code alerts, battery voltage alerts, and driver scores. The third MRM is Vehcon’s OdoPhoto, a non-location image capture solution embedded within Azuga’s smartphone app that allows participants to periodically snap a photo of their odometer and remotely submit it for mileage processing.

“Azuga has been specializing in and innovating road usage charging technology since its inception in the U.S., and both our clients and users continually praise Azuga Insight’s ease of use, accuracy, and convenient services,” said Nate Bryer, Vice President of Innovation at Azuga. “We look forward to bringing our secure, driver-centric approach to the residents of Hawaii and to assisting HDOT in assessing possible future funding systems for the unique needs of the state.”

HiRUC Part 2 follows the launch of Part 1, which is a manual demonstration that uses the odometer readings taken during Hawaii drivers’ regular, mandated safety inspections. Owners of vehicles will begin receiving driving reports in late 2019 with annual, simulated road usage charges. Part 2 of the demonstration will analyze the mileage collection process via other technologies.
