New Interactive Product Platform from Radco Industries

https://www.prweb.com/

The fluid directory page features an interactive temperature graphic displaying the recommended temperature service ranges for all the heat transfer fluids.

Radco’s new Interactive Product Platform, located on their website, uses a modern web application to streamline the on-demand delivery of key documentation for each fluid product.

New Interactive Product Platform from Radco Industries

Xceltherm Heat Transfer Fluid Properties, Usage, and Safety Data Available On Demand

Radco Industries, a functional fluids manufacturer based in Batavia, Illinois, USA has been involved with heat transfer fluids under the Xceltherm brand name since 1971. And beginning in 2003, they also added several flushing and system cleaning products for thermal-processing equipment maintenance.

Xceltherm Heat Transfer Fluids are used to control temperature in a wide variety of heating and cooling equipment and industrial processes, for manufacturing organic and inorganic chemicals, in gas processing and petroleum refining, in plastics, asphalt paving, textiles, pharmaceuticals, food manufacturing, solar energy, and more.

The fluids are based on a variety of chemistries and serve a wide range of temperatures (-100°F to +750°F) and application conditions. Sales engineers and customer service professionals assist end-users, OEMs and specifiers in selecting the right fluid for each application. However, with 22 different fluid products to choose from, in the past some customers have expressed frustration differentiating the products by name, by function, and for suitability to their specific needs. Now, there’s a solution to that problem.

Radco’s new Interactive Product Platform, at Radcoind.com uses a modern web application to streamline the on-demand delivery of key documentation for each fluid product. At the top of each product page, a simple embedded form allows the user to enter an email address, click a single submit button, and instantly receive, via email, all the important documents supporting that product—the physical properties and engineering data, the safety data, and in some cases, the recommended usage instructions.

In addition, each product page features a prominent column of direct links to these same documents for instant download, and the fluid directory page features an interactive temperature graphic displaying the recommended temperature service ranges for all the heat transfer fluids. Many users, however, prefer to use the autoresponder form to instantly receive a fluid’s dedicated documents. The instant email arriving in the inbox provides a convenient selection record, a reference point, and flags the specific product (or products) of interest. When several products from several distinct suppliers are being evaluated, an interactive product platform can deliver a handy way to register the top product candidates and organize them.

In addition, registering interest in a specific product, submitting the autoresponder form, and receiving the documents, will also save the entered email address in the database, and trigger a concise follow-up message a few days later. This no-pressure, short email is sent to confirm receipt of the documents, and ask if any further information is needed, if any questions remain, or if pricing or logistics are required. It also serves as a scheduled reminder, in case the professional who requested the information is juggling multiple projects and can use a nudge.

This web application also creates a unique mailing list for each product, which can be used for future product updates, alerts of new documentation, and product-specific news. As the Interactive Product Platform is new to Radco Industries, this last feature hasn’t been needed or used yet, at press time. All received messages contain an unsubscribe link at the bottom, so further communications from each list can be permanently cancelled at any time.

This same autoresponder platform is also available, with similar function, on the [Tech Tips section of the website where thermal-fluid users and specifiers can enter their names and emails to receive monthly tips on operation and maintenance of thermal fluids and related equipment and processes.

Cumberland Academy of Georgia Partners with Kennesaw State University

Two Cumberland Academy students at Kennesaw State University for dual enrollment

According to the executive director, Dr. Neil Duchac, “We are exceptionally pleased at the opportunity to work with students from the Cumberland. Their presence in this pilot program highlights our dedication to the community and our students.”

Cumberland Academy of Georgia, an Atlanta-based special needs school, is launching a new and innovative dual enrollment program in partnership with Kennesaw State University. Cumberland’s “Creating Futures” program will be working with KSU’s “Academy for Inclusive Learning and Social Growth” to provide Cumberland’s Career Prep high school seniors with the experience of attending and studying at the college level in the certificate based program. This pilot dual enrollment program will bridge the gap between the Cumberland academic program and the Kennesaw State University Inclusive Learning program.

Once a week, a group of Cumberland’s Career Prep seniors will visit KSU and participate in their academic program. The students will be integrated into the program, taking a class with other college students. Cumberland students will be assigned KSU mentors, attend social events and complete homework as required by the class. The Cumberland seniors will receive support with adapting to the expectations of college life and feeling a sense of comfort when attending social activities like football games and tailgate gatherings.

“Cumberland is uniquely poised to participate in a pilot program as we are always seeking additional experiences to assist students with their academic and social goals. This new dual enrollment experience will help our students ease into a college experience. We are grateful to the Academy for Inclusive Learning and Social Growth for this opportunity,” said Shari Wright, director of Student Advancement at Cumberland. “Students will train to become proficient in a specific skill and receive a certificate of completion. This program provides students with learning differences an opportunity to experience college and be well prepared for full enrollment in the college program upon graduation.”

The staff at KSU agree. “We are exceptionally pleased at the opportunity to work with students from Cumberland Academy of Georgia. Their presence in this pilot program highlights our dedication to the community and our students,” said Dr. Neil Duchac, executive director of the Academy of Inclusive Learning and Social Growth at Kennesaw State University.

Brothers Van Patten Parlay Real-Life Prop Bet Into Movie ‘Gem’

Winner of Best Comedy at CAIFF

The Van Patten brothers new movie.
Winner of Best Comedy at CAIFF.

“Funny, fresh, insightful and entertaining as hell.” ~ Richard Roeper

Vincent Van Patten and his brother James Van Patten are Hollywood legacy – sons of beloved Eight Is Enough patriarch Dick Van Patten and members of an entertainment family comprised of actors, directors and filmmakers. Dick would host weekly poker games for Hollywood’s elite and it was almost mandatory that Vincent and James learned the game and participated – often being instructed to miss school to play another hand.

The Van Patten brothers have carved out impressive careers for themselves. Both grew up on screen… After appearing in a slew of movies and TV including Apple’s Way and Three For The Road, Vincent gained fame as an international tennis champion and is the longtime host/commentator of The World Poker Tour. An accomplished actor/writer/producer, James has appeared in over 40 films including his starring role in Young Warriors for which he received critical acclaim, and his role as Dr. Heffner in the SAW movies.

It’s no surprise that the Van Pattens’ new feature is pretty much founded in fact. Rolling into theaters on September 20th from Gravitas Ventures, 7 Days To Vegas is based on an actual ‘prop bet’ and true outrageous adventure. Dubbed “A charming, dryly funny, low-key gem” by Chicago Sun Times film critic Richard Roeper, the movie mixes comedy and gambling as Duke (Vincent Van Patten) sets out to win a wager that he can walk from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in 7 days… with all his friends betting against him. In addition to James Van Patten, the eccentric characters that co-star include Ross McCall (Band of Brothers), Paul Walter Hauser (title role in Clint Eastwood’s upcoming The Ballad of Richard Jewell, BlackkKlansman, I Tonya), Emmy Award winning Eileen Davidson (The Young and the Restless), Don Stark (Green Book), Lucas Bryant (Haven), John O’Hurley (Seinfeld), Chad Lowe (Pretty Little Liars), Willie Garson (Sex and the City) and Jennifer Tilly (Bound, Bride of Chucky).

Best described as The Sting meets The Hangover, Vincent co-wrote with Steve Alper and produced with James, then they teamed up with producers Kim Waltrip (Hit & Run) and The World Poker Tour winner Adam Weinraub. The World Poker Tour also co-produced and is promoting the film’s nationwide release on September 20th with premiere events in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York and Chicago. 7 Days To Vegas is already a top pre-seller on iTunes with the video-on-demand release scheduled for late September.

“This film incorporates our love of making movies, poker, and honors our father, Dick Van Patten, who would love 7 Days To Vegas,” says James. “It doesn’t get much better, especially making it together. It’s a royal flush!”

Required Actions by Surviving Spouse Who Owns Real Property in California Tip Sheet by Deed and Record

https://www.prweb.com/

Affidavits of death, living trust, deeds and probate administration

This Tip Sheet by Deed and Record explains actions required by the surviving spouse to take control of the real property while living and to avoid probate court on death. Real property in California owned by a married couple should be with right of survivorship. This right is created on the deed conveying real property to the married couple and must specifically state either “joint tenancy” or “community property with the right of survivorship.” No other wording will work.

This right of survivorship allows for the deceased spouse’s ownership to transfer to the survivor without filing a petition in probate court. The right is asserted by the surviving with a document known as an “affidavit of death.” The affidavit is filed with the county recorder. Then the surviving spouse can mortgage or sell the real property.

The affidavit avoids probate on the death of the first spouse, but not on the death of the second spouse. The second spouse must take the additional step of either creating a living trust or executing a deed known as a ““revocable transfer on death deed” also known as a (“TOD Deed”).

A TOD Deed transfers on death the family home owned by one person to other people named on the deed. While alive, the owner maintains control of the family home, property taxes remain the same and the deed can be revoked at any time. The TOD Deed does not affect eligibility for Medi-Cal.

A TOD Deed is new to California. Currently, title companies will not issue title insurance for a period of three years after the death of the owner. This effectively prohibits the sale or the use the property as collateral for a loan for the three, year period. The established alternative is the “living trust.”

Like a TOD Deed, the living trust allows the owner to maintain control of the real property. A California living trust protects the property tax base. A living trust is more expensive but has no waiting period for title insurance and provides flexibility in distribution of real property.

This flexibility allows for contingent and delayed distributions. Examples of a contingency is an alternative distribution if an heir were to predecease the owner. A delayed distribution is needed if an heir is a minor, under the age of 18 years. Minors cannot directly receive inheritances.

Most married couples take ownership either as joint tenants with the right of survivorship or as community property with the right of survivorship. There is no problem on the death of the first spouse with the right of survivorship. But before the second spouse dies, he or she must prepare a revocable transfer on death deed or a living trust.

A New Article Explains How Drivers Should File An Auto Insurance Claim

News Image

“Drivers should know that after an accident happens, they can only be reimbursed if they file a claim. To do that, drivers are recommended to follow several steps after the accident happened”, said Russell Rabichev, Marketing Director of Internet Marketing Company.

Cheapquotesautoinsurance.com has launched a new blog post that presents the necessary steps for filing a car insurance claim.

For more info and free quotes, visit https://cheapquotesautoinsurance.com/how-to-file-an-auto-insurance-claim/

Policyholders that file a claim, expect that their insurance providers will reimburse the costs of sustained damages after they were involved in a car accident. When filing a claim, policyholders have to follow certain steps.

Depending on the guilty party, and the damage suffered, the insurance company will be able to provide coverage. In most cases, the same steps apply:

  • Contact the authorities. It’s important for drivers to call the police as soon as possible after the accident happened or when the owner realized his car got stolen. The police will create a report where they will gather evidence and eyewitness reports. Drivers should make sure to get a copy of that report.
  • Get in touch with the DMV to notify the accident. After they are informed about the accident, they will inform the drivers about their legal responsibilities.
  • Drivers should obtain all the info related to their accident. It’s important to gather witness testimonials, police reports, and car repair bills.
  • Notify the insurance company. Drivers should explain to their insurers how the accident happened and what are the damages.
  • The insurance company will send a claim adjuster. Claim adjusters are trained professionals that work for the insurance company and they will try to obtain the lowest settlements possible.
  • Cooperate with claim adjusters. The adjuster will contact the policyholder and ask him to describe how everything happened. The adjuster will check the car and review the repair costs. Drivers should carefully negotiate with claim adjusters and make sure they get a fair settlement.

As a mentor to ProcessBolt at the Target TechStars accelerator, I was impressed by the team, solution and the market opportunity for the company.

Serial entrepreneur and business operator Mike Kelly has been named the Chief Executive Officer of vendor risk assessment software provider ProcessBolt.

“At ProcessBolt, we are building a culture of excellence and Mike brings vast experience running high caliber software-as-a-service businesses,” says ProcessBolt co-founder Gaurav Gaur. “We are excited to add someone of Mike’s background and experience to our executive team and look forward to the next stage in our company’s evolution.”

“Adding leadership and deep operational experience is an important step in our growth,” says ProcessBolt co-founder Dan Gardner. “Mike has both grown, and engineered successful exits for businesses of varied sizes and industries which is a great benefit for us, but perhaps even more important is that we have really enjoyed working together over the past year since we met during the Target TechStars 2018 program.”

Kelly is a veteran of the software and business services markets. Previously, Kelly was the Chief Officer of Strategy & Business Development for Jostens and part of the executive leadership team that led the turnaround and the successful disposition of the business.
