Pinnacle Performance Company Launches Ascend Program to Encourage Effective Communication Skills Retention and Behavior Change

Effective Communication Skills

We view communication skills like any other skill or behavior. To promote behavior change, create new habits, and reinforce long term skill adoption and retention, communicators, like athletes or musicians, must keep their skills crisp through continuous practice.

Pinnacle Performance Company, a premier global communication skills training firm, launched its new Pinnacle Ascend Program today to further encourage past Pinnacle workshop participants adopt, retain, and apply Pinnacle’s effective communication skills training in the workplace.

Advanced Presentation Skills and Advanced One-to-One Communication Skills are the first two workshops available in the Pinnacle Ascend Program. These interactive, exercise-based workshops were designed for past workshop participants who want to continue their education. The instructor-led workshops are delivered on-site and culminate in project-based simulations applicable and customized to participant’s role.

“We view communication skills like any other skill or behavior,” said David Lewis, CEO and co-founder of Pinnacle Performance Company. “To promote behavior change, create new habits, and reinforce long term skill adoption and retention, communicators, like athletes or musicians, must keep their skills crisp through continuous practice. We created the Pinnacle Ascend Program to encourage workshop participants further sharpen their communication skills and refresh their abilities through intense, practical simulations.”

According to LinkedIn’s 2019 Global Talent Trends Report, 92 percent of talent professionals and hiring managers said soft skills are just as important or more important than hard skills when hiring talent. Eighty percent also said soft skills are increasingly important to company success. According to LinkedIn’s 2018 Workplace Learning & Development Report, the number one priority for training was soft skills.

“The two most common comments we receive at the end of a Pinnacle workshop are ‘I wish there was another day’ or ‘What’s next?’,” added Lewis. “We are passionate about life-long learning. In addition to our Video Learning Modules, our Virtual Coach, and our online Learning Vault, our new Ascend Program supports our commitment to long-term retention of our techniques for professional success and greater return on investment.”

Five Questions Every Manufacturing CEO Should Be Asking Their IT Team

https://www.prweb.com/

Manufacturing Day 2019

Manufacturers’ data is becoming the most important asset to their businesses; information, data communication, and data processing technologies are powerful tools that span every element of the manufacturing enterprise,” said Reggie Gresham, vice president of sales & marketing at Matrix Integration.

Automation, artificial intelligence and IoT (internet of things) systems – they’re all part of manufacturing’s digital transformation. More than ever, today’s manufacturing leaders need to stay ahead of the technology that can make or break not just their businesses, but disrupt their entire industry.

In honor of National Manufacturing Day, Fri., Oct. 4, 2019, Matrix Integration, a strategic IT infrastructure partner for more than 1,000 organizations in Indiana and beyond, is offering practical tips for National Manufacturing Day and the entire month of October.

“Manufacturers’ data is becoming the most important asset to their businesses, so information, data communication, and data processing technologies have become powerful tools that span every element of the manufacturing enterprise, including just-in-time delivery of raw materials, real time activities on the factory floor, shipping, marketing, and strategic planning,” said Reggie Gresham, vice president of sales and marketing at Matrix Integration. “To be successful in a data-driven industry is to be proactive with your technology – and if you’re not an IT expert, it means trusting your IT team and knowing the right questions to ask.”

Matrix Integration’s Top Five Questions Manufacturing Leaders Should Ask Their IT Team

The questions below from the experts at Matrix Integration will help CEOs, owners and other manufacturing leaders stay ahead of key issues, from strategy and efficiency to security and disaster recovery.

1. Is our IT system aligned with our current business strategy to manufacture products with improved quality, functionality, and reduced time to market?

Because technology is so integral to manufacturing and logistics today, it’s essential for leaders to discuss business strategy with the IT team to ensure that hardware, software and the integration of the two are supporting those initiatives.

2. Can using our own data help us get our products faster to market, allow for more informed decisions and give us a competitive advantage?

This question gets to the issue of leveraging AI (artificial intelligence) and machine learning. Most companies have been collecting data for years. Can it be analyzed quickly, or does it take weeks or months? Are systems automated to continuously improve efficiency based on data?

3. Are we getting the maximum capacity out of our existing software?

Often in the race to implement software and technology, systems don’t “play nice” with one another. In addition, companies don’t always utilize the software to its full potential. Leaders can work with others in the business, along with the IT team, to pinpoint bottlenecks and work on improving the overall experience of their internal and external software and processes.

4. What kind of visibility do we have into our system?

A recent survey noted a 600-percent increase in the number of attacks against IoT devices, and IoT is just one piece of an increasingly complex manufacturing IT network. In the past, it could be difficult to get a quick snapshot of who’s on the network and what they’re doing. However, modern security infrastructure and software can now provide visibility and make this process as simple as checking a single screen to get an overview of network security.

5. How are we protecting our data?

When a data center goes down, it’s a crisis for any company. For manufacturing and logistics, downtime can mean major lost revenue and fines. Whether data is housed on local servers or offsite in the cloud, the IT team needs to be able to walk leaders through the case of a major outage, whether it’s a power outage, a failed network server, or a malicious cyberattack.

Docent Health Showcasing New Patient Engagement Insights At Activate 2019

News Image

Docent Health, the healthcare experience technology and services company, today released results showing how innovations in patient texting are driving improvements in patient engagement and lowered costs of care. By using mobile communications in thoughtful ways, Docent Health is creating capacity to address social determinants of health at scale, while simultaneously improving the patient experience.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have stated that achieving health equity and driving improvements for all patients require further investment in tools that address social determinants and close care gaps. However, constraints on budgets and resourcing make it increasingly difficult to provide high-touch services to all patients, particularly those populations with unique or complex needs.

Docent Health uses its experience intelligence platform to efficiently and effectively personalize interactions for entire populations across phone, email, and text, but goes a step further by also providing patients access to a live, non-clinical navigator. Together, the technology and the “docent” individualize support and guidance across local community resources, educational programs, and care preparation, while also orchestrating activities with care teams and social support resources.

Jacqueline Thong, Docent Health’s Senior Director of Product Performance, will be presenting the research and results at Activate 2019 in Los Angeles, CA on October 10th. A preview of some of the research findings are:

  • 89% of patients actively engaged with the Docent Health program when offered
  • 76% of all patient interactions are through text message
  • 3.5x docent navigator efficiencies gained, allowing navigators to spend more time with patients who need additional support

“Docent Health believes the challenges of modern healthcare require the right balance of technological and human services,” said Paul Roscoe, CEO of Docent Health. “Our patient engagement research is driving this forward, and we’re seeing conclusive evidence that providing enhanced support results in healthier and happier patients.”

Docent Health’s technology platform collects numerous unique patient attributes, then uses its proprietary experience intelligence tools to analyze those inputs and predictively determine the right communications to develop patient relationships and help coordinate care. The Docent Health analysis utilized a large dataset of over 130,000 interactions with patients in various markets throughout the United States.

When Should Drivers Decide To Drop Full Car Insurance Coverage

News Image

“Dropping full coverage can help drivers save money on car insurance. However, drivers should consider the advantages and disadvantages of dropping full coverage, before making this decision”, said Russell Rabichev, Marketing Director of Internet Marketing Company.

Cheapquotesautoinsurance.com has launched a new blog post that explains how dropping full coverage in various scenarios can help drivers save money on car insurance.

For more info and free car insurance quotes, visit https://cheapquotesautoinsurance.com/how-to-lower-car-insurance-rates-by-dropping-full-coverage/

In almost all states, except New Hampshire, drivers are required to carry car insurance. Besides the minimum car insurance that is required by the state law, drivers can acquire additional coverages, like full coverage. In some cases, drivers who are having full coverage can be overpaying for something that is really not worth it.

Drivers who have full coverage are advised to drop it in the following situations:

  • The vehicle is too old. The value of a vehicle will decrease as soon as it’s leaving the showroom. Unless the car is a collectible, it’s value will continue to decrease with each year that passes. Keeping full coverage for a vehicle that is 10 years old or older is not worth it.
  • High-mileage. Drivers who use their cars very often, should not be surprised if their vehicles are not as valuable as they think. Relatively new vehicles that are 4, or 5 years cold can drastically lose their value if they were driven for 200,000 miles or even more. In this case, full coverage is not worth it.
  • The car is in a really bad condition. Even if a vehicle has sentimental value, this should not be a reason to keep full coverage on a car that is covered in rust.
  • The loan has been paid. Banks and other financial institutions that are financing a vehicle will impose the owner to carry full coverage. Once the driver fully owns the vehicle, then he can choose to drop full coverage.
  • The driver can’t afford to pay anymore. Policyholders who entered into financial troubles can save some by dropping full coverage and using them in another place.
  • The vehicle is being kept in a garage. A garage can protect a vehicle from weather damage, theft, vandalism, and fire. Drivers who decide to drop full coverage should ensure that they are driving carefully and they are not causing accidents. If they do cause an accident, then they will have to cover the cost to repair the vehicle from their own pockets.
