Ntiva Wins CRN Triple Crown Award 2019

Ntiva, Inc., a leading provider of managed IT, cloud hosting, cyber security, unified communications and strategic consulting services announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized Ntiva as a 2019 Triple Crowd Award winner.

CRN Triple Crown Award winners rank among the largest IT solution providers in North America in terms of revenue on the Solution Provider 500 list. They are also among the fastest-growing organizations in the channel today on the Fast Growth 150 list and have made the Tech Elite 250 list by receiving the highest-level certifications from leading vendors. It is a great accomplishment for a solution provider to earn a spot on any of these lists, so being named to all three deserves special attention.

“It’s a privilege to be honored as a 2019 Triple Crown winner,” said Steven Freidkin, Founder and CEO of Ntiva. “This award highlights our position in the market as a top solution provider and identifies us as one of the top growth companies in the channel. It’s an exciting recognition of our hard working team, our fantastic partners and our loyal customers.”

Now in its sixth year, the Triple Crown Award recognizes solution providers that outshine their IT channel peers. It is awarded to the top solution providers in North America based on revenue, growth, and technical expertise.

“Triple Crown Award winners have pulled off the trifecta — they’re among the top solution providers in North America according to revenue, have experienced substantial growth over the past year, and are committed to building and maintaining the technical skills needed to provide customers with the highest level of service,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “We are honored to recognize these solution providers as Triple Crown Award winners for their exceptional achievements across the IT channel.”

This year’s Triple Crown Award winners will be featured in the October issue of CRN Magazine and can be viewed online at http://www.crn.com/triplecrown.

Cumberland Academy of Georgia Expands Its Experiential Emotional Intelligence Curriculum

Student at Cumberland Academy of Georgia who participates in the "IMAGINE If..." program

“The more we infuse Social Emotional Learning (SEL) into the curriculum and student life, the better our students are equipped to handle stress and surprise,” said Dr. Spargo, director of counseling at Cumberland Academy.

Cumberland Academy of Georgia believes that social growth is equally as important as academic growth. In addition to a teaching staff that specializes in educating students with learning differences, Cumberland houses a therapeutic counseling staff that plays an equal role in student success at school, at home and in the world. One of the tools Cumberland counselors utilize is an experiential emotional intelligence curriculum entitled “IMAGINE If..”. “IMAGINE If…” emphasizes core principles like “gratitude” and “courage” in an effort to build a student’s level of self-awareness, motivation, and self-esteem.

On a weekly basis, students explore various topics through open discussions in the classroom and journaling digitally through Google Classroom. The counseling staff introduces the material to students during homeroom, and teachers incorporate the information into their lessons, providing students with additional opportunities to explore concepts in their daily interactions. The digital journal also provides students with opportunities to express their feelings and reflect. Journal prompts are provided, and students respond based on their thoughts and experiences. This online forum is monitored by counselors and provides them with valuable insight and feedback on each student.

“The more we infuse Social Emotional Learning (SEL) into the curriculum and student life, the better our students are equipped to handle stress and surprise,” said Dr. Spargo, director of counseling at Cumberland Academy. “The program helps us know how to listen and reach our students, so they can develop life-long skills to navigate successfully in all areas of life.”

Aligning with Cumberland’s mission, the “IMAGINE If…” program helps provide support and guides students in learning the importance of goal setting, daily positive practice, and self-awareness to become self-sufficient young adults. Jennifer Kramer, speaker and author of “IMAGINE If…”, regularly visits the campus and is accessible to faculty, staff, and families as a consultant.

About Cumberland Academy of Georgia

Cumberland Academy of Georgia specializes in the needs of students in grades 4 through 12 who have high-functioning autism, Asperger’s syndrome, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and learning disabilities. Cumberland was founded in 2007 by Debbi and Matthew Scarborough, and is a fully-accredited, independent, non-profit school that seeks to provide a safe and supportive academic atmosphere for its students. Cumberland accepts applications year-round. To schedule a family tour, please contact Jane Paoletta, Director of Admissions, at 404-835-9000, or email admissions@cumberlandacademy.org.

25 North American senior living communities win the Beacon Award for ‘Best in Wellness’

ICAA NuStep Beacon "Best in Wellness" Award

ICAA NuStep Beacon “Best in Wellness” Award

The Beacon is awarded to communities that successfully foster a wellness culture and an environment that supports wellness for all who live and work there.

As the population of older adults continues to grow and more individuals seek a better, longer life, where people choose to live becomes increasingly important. Wellness has emerged as a culture shift in many senior living communities in the last decade. These communities prioritize wellness—and its pursuit—as an essential way of life. Yet how they structure their support for wellness can significantly affect health and longevity. Wellness is not simply something to practice; it is a culture that permeates all aspects of life—and now a new awards program will highlight communities whose efforts make them shining examples. Twenty-five communities have been recognized with the 2019 ICAA NuStep Beacon Award for their “Best in Wellness” achievements.

The Beacon Award was created as a joint venture between two organizations: the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA) and NuStep, LLC, both of whom have long supported, and advocated for, older adult wellness. ICAA is responsible for leading, connecting and defining the active-aging industry. CEO and founder Colin Milner says, “Senior living communities have been aware for a long time how important wellness is for the health of their residents, which is reflected in a survey ICAA recently conducted. The survey shows that 59% of senior living communities state that their business model will be wellness-centered with care services by 2023.”*

The Beacon is awarded to communities that successfully foster a wellness culture and an environment that supports wellness for all who live and work there. Wellness is typically defined by seven key dimensions: emotional, physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, vocational and environmental. These dimensions improve a resident’s quality of life when they are nurtured and prioritized as a whole.

The Beacon recipients have demonstrated remarkable strength in creating resident-staff partnerships to create meaningful opportunities that empower participants to improve their quality of life. The award-winners achieved this by weaving wellness into the fabric of their communities. By doing so, they could then provide exceptional innovation, inspiration and motivation for engaging residents and staff in a wellness culture and journey.

“It is a pleasure to honor the top 25 wellness communities,” says Jane Benskey, marketing communications specialist at NuStep, LLC (a manufacturer of recumbent cross trainer exercise equipment used in healthcare, senior living and fitness settings). “Their recognition of the value and importance of creating cultures where wellness is not a program in a room, but rather a way of life, is having a lasting and positive impact on many lives.”

Milner agrees. He adds, “Although there are only 25 winners of the 2019 Beacon Award, every community that enters the awards contest, and every older adult or staff member whose life improves due to that community’s wellness culture, is already a winner.”

The award recipients are beacons for the industry, going above and beyond to bring wellness to many nuances of daily living at their communities. ICAA and NuStep, LLC are proud to announce this year’s top 25:

PX Launches First Objective Quality Score for Lead Buyers to Assess and Optimize Sources

https://www.prweb.com/

PX

It makes it that much clearer for buyers to see where they have opportunity. And it gives publishers insights into how their leads are performing in the market.

PX, the leading marketing technology platform to automate and manage customer acquisition, today announced the launch of Source Quality Scoring, an advanced engine that provides the first objective quality score on sources for lead buyers to assess and optimize where to find new customers. The feature is now available to all marketers buying leads through PX.

Source Quality Scoring is an expansion of PX’s lead scoring algorithms that were granted a patent in 2017, as a system to enhance a marketplace by creating independent quality scores. By adding additional dimensions that are specific and customized to each buyer and seller, PX can now deliver an objective quality measurement that continuously adapts itself to conditions and provides each buyer with quality scores on the sources they’re using — and the sources that are available to them.

“This is among our biggest steps forward as we continue to change the industry and the way marketers find new customers,” said Bas Offers, Co-founder and COO of PX. “It makes it that much clearer for buyers to see where they have opportunity. And it gives publishers insights into how their leads are performing in the market, helping them to get the most value possible for them.”

Each individual source is rated on a 6-point scale, from Excellent to Poor. The score itself is made more objective and trustworthy, because it reflects a view of the entire customer acquisition process, which is dynamic, and adjusts in real-time the myriad factors that can affect a score.

As with the rest of PX, it enhances available marketplace data with a buyer’s sales disposition data across the ecosystem of supply and demand, using that to determine if, in fact, a source is delivering leads that ultimately become customers. The machine learning technology then dices and slices that entire process, weighting different factors at different times, to ultimately generate quality scores for more than 500 publisher sources and 25,000 sub-sources within PX.

Among the dynamic measurement factors that contribute to the Source Quality Score:

Vertical Industries: Sources are measured based on their ability to deliver in a specific vertical.

Campaign Goals: What are the buyer’s specific goals? Does a source help the buyer to reach them?

Maturity of Vertical-specific Goals: Mortgage leads, for example, may take 45-60 days to close; this factor must be treated differently than a vertical industry with shorter sales cycles.

Gradual Importance: The PX algorithms weight data for different stages of the sales funnel with different levels of importance.

Campaign/Buyer Mix: Each measure is based on multiple buyers for each source, so as to remain objective on quality assessment.

“We’re proud to add this feature to the platform after developing this for the last 12 months, as a means to bring buyers and sellers closer,” said Alexander van der Laan, Chief Architect of PX. “Source Quality Scoring validates our efforts to advance the customer acquisition industry through transparency, analytics and the ability to use many different data sets to achieve success for all parties in the market.”

The new feature is now seen in PX buying and optimization platform where 500+ publisher sources are available to buyers and where 30 million buyer-seller transactions happen each month.

About PX

PX is the world’s first transparent customer acquisition platform, providing a single marketplace for companies to acquire customers from hundreds of vetted and sought-after sources. The company removes the risk from customer acquisition by providing marketers with easy-to-use solutions and tools to grow and efficiently scale their customer base. PX is active in the Financial Services, Insurance and Home Services industries. Originally established in 2010, PX launched its open marketplace in 2018.
