Buffalo Wings & Rings Launches New Fall Menu and Introduces Campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Over the past three decades, Buffalo Wings & Rings has elevated the chicken wing segment and emerged as a standout in the sports restaurant category by providing a higher-quality product and experience than the competition. Now, the club-level sports restaurant brand has unveiled a delicious new fall menu as well as a “RAISE A MUG FOR THE CAUSE” campaign in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“We are excited to bring these new offerings to our customers this fall,” said Nader Masadeh, CEO of Buffalo Wings & Rings. “We love releasing new flavors, specials and other offerings all year round, as this gives us the opportunity to give fans what they’ve been asking for—more variety and a menu of items that go beyond the tried and true meal options.”

The fall menu includes three exciting additions: Spicy Korean Shrimp, the Old Bay Shrimp Basket and the Tennessee Harvest Drink, which is available from now until November 11. The Spicy Korean Shrimp, featuring hand-breaded, fried shrimp, are tossed in Gochujang sauce atop a bed of Korean BBQ slaw with jalapeños and cilantro. The Old Bay Shrimp Basket, featuring shrimp seasoned with classic Old Bay spices that are hand-breaded and fried, is served with Buffalo Garlic Medium sauce for dipping. Finally, to wash it all down, guests can reach for the Tennessee Harvest Drink: a refreshing mix of Jack Daniels, Amaretto, lemonade, strawberry Reàl and a splash of Sprite.

The brand has also announced its commitment to help find a cure and raise awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with a “RAISE A MUG FOR THE CAUSE” campaign in which each Buffalo Wings & Rings location will sell tumblers that feature the dual slogan “Save Breasts, Eat Wings” for $12.99 or $10 dollars with a beverage purchase. All of the proceeds raised from the campaign will be donated to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research and awareness. In the past two years, Buffalo Wings & Rings has raised more than $40,000 across the system in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

“Since the beginning, it’s been our mission to find ways to make a positive impact in the communities and neighborhoods that our Buffalo Wings & Rings restaurants serve,” said Masadeh. “Our commitment to Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the American Cancer Society is another important way we are furthering that mission. We hope our valued guests will join us in the fight against breast cancer this fall.”

Massachusetts Contracts with STACS DNA for Track-Kit Statewide Sexual Assault Kit Tracking

News Image

“We are very pleased to have in STACS DNA a strong partner dedicated to helping us fulfill this important directive,” said MA Secretary of Public Safety and Security Thomas A. Turco.

STACS DNA, the sample-tracking software company, today announced that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has selected Track-Kit as its sexual assault evidence collection kit (SAECK) tracking system. Led by the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS) and the Executive Office of Technology Services and Security, the system is to be implemented in all regions of the state by the end of the year.

“Building and implementing a robust tracking system for Sexual Assault Evidence Collection Kits is one of the most important aspects of the criminal justice reform bill signed into law last year and we are very pleased to have in STACS DNA a strong partner dedicated to helping us fulfill this important directive,” said MA Secretary of Public Safety and Security Thomas A. Turco.

“This tracking system will provide a greater degree of awareness and utility for criminal justice stakeholders involved in sexual assault evidence collection and will provide a sexual assault survivor with critical information as to the status of their kit,” said MA Secretary of Technology Services and Security Curtis M. Wood. “I am pleased to play a role in deploying this important system across the Commonwealth.”

Track-Kit will be implemented to thousands of users at hospitals, law enforcement agencies, forensic DNA laboratories, district attorneys’ offices, EOPSS, and other stakeholders across the state. Most importantly, it will be available to sexual assault survivors, confidentially providing the status and location of their kit as well as local sexual assault resources and contact information.

Under the agreement, STACS DNA will provide turnkey services to ensure a smooth and rapid rollout. This includes comprehensive training with online webinar sessions for users at each facility, as well as technical, multichannel end-user support 24/7. Massachusetts will be the sixth state for which STACS DNA has implemented Track-Kit sexual assault evidence collection kit-tracking.

“We are pleased to be working with EOPSS to deliver sexual assault evidence collection kit tracking to the citizens of Massachusetts,” says Jocelyn Tremblay, President and COO, STACS DNA. “We can help them get up and running very quickly and securely to provide vital information to everyone who needs it across the state.”

The SAECK tracking system is being implemented in response to the passage of Chapter 69 of the Acts of 2018, An Act Relative to Criminal Justice Reform, with supporting funding in 2019. The new law mandates establishing a statewide tracking system intended to provide survivors access to the testing status of their sexual assault evidence collection kits.

ABOUT STACS DNA

STACS DNA offers sample tracking software for forensics and healthcare. Track-Kit™ tracks every sample statewide to prevent delayed or lost kits and keep thousands of stakeholders informed. STACS® software is the most comprehensive DNA sample tracking and lab management software, maximizing processing throughput and minimizing risk. In Vitro Sciences Sets Growth Plan for Arizona

News Image

“In Vitro Sciences has been actively looking for partners who share our mission of creating widespread access to the highest quality care for patients facing fertility issues. Advanced Fertility Care has an excellent reputation in Arizona so it’s only natural to combine efforts to help them achieve

In Vitro Sciences (IVS), a prominent network of fertility centers, recently acquired a majority interest in Advanced Fertility Care (AFC), an advanced reproductive services (RE) facility operating in the greater Phoenix area. The two entities are joining forces to expand the availability of RE services to expectant families throughout Arizona and the greater Southwest.

This partnership between IVS and AFC is unique to the specialty in that it will leverage IVS’s affiliation with Women’s Health USA (Whusa), a widely-recognized network of more than 600 ObGyn providers across the nation, including 50 providers in the Phoenix metropolitan area, to drive a new model of comprehensive and high-quality care delivery between obstetrics and fertility services.

Brian Pskowski, President of In Vitro Sciences, commented “In Vitro Sciences has been actively looking for partners who share our mission of creating widespread access to the highest quality care for patients facing fertility issues. Advanced Fertility Care has an excellent reputation in Arizona so it’s only natural to combine efforts to help them achieve their – and our – next level of expansion. We look forward to applying our respective strengths to advancing the care coordination in the reproductive field.”

Dr. Nathaniel Zoneraich, FACOG, the founder and lead physician for AFC, is energized by the new arrangement. “We’ve known for some time about the potential we have to expand our leadership in the Arizona market and beyond. IVS brings us the tools and bench strength to help us realize that goal more quickly. Together we will focus on broadening our strategies to better meet referring ObGyn demand and maximizing quality and convenience of patient care coordination.”

Under this new partnership, the entities will also begin to work on a best approach for geographic expansion throughout the region and on deepening the ancillary services they provide.

Advanced Fertility Care (AFC) serves patients from all over Arizona with the latest fertility treatment options including IUI, IVF, ICSI, embryo biopsy and genetic testing. With primary offices in Scottsdale and Mesa, AFC consistently demonstrates high pregnancy success rates, enabled by the best technology and treatment protocols available. AFC has been recognized as a Center of Excellence by every major insurer.

With a 22-year history in the fertility arena and a comprehensive suite of business management services, In Vitro Sciences (IVS) partners with reproductive endocrinology practices across the United States. IVS got its start in partnership with Women’s Health USA, a national management service organization supporting more than 600 ObGyn providers around the U.S., with more than 50 in Arizona alone. The two entities partner to offer strategic management services for independent practices, including: implementing creative growth strategies supporting streamlined operational costs, payer alignment, merger and acquisition plans, marketing, and risk management services. Its unique partnership model enables physicians and physician groups to maintain their independence while leveraging the resources of a national organization.
