Enquire and Prime Care Technologies Partner to Deliver Critical Performance Data to the Senior Care Continuum

Enquire Prime Care Technologies Partnership

“We already provide the clinical and financial data they need, but Enquire’s referral data really completes the story for each potential resident, enabling facilities to make informed decisions in the moment.” Jim Hoey, Prime Care Technologies CEO

Enquire, a leading provider of cloud CRM, marketing automation and contact center solutions for senior living communities and post-acute care organizations is proud to announce a new partnership with Prime Care Technologies, a 17-year data warehousing and integration partner to post-acute care and senior living providers.

Most recognized for its primeVIEW facility performance dashboard, Prime Care Technologies continues to evolve its flexible IT services and cloud software based on industry demand. This partnership with Enquire delivers referral data that provides transparency to providers across the continuum. Relying on the primeVIEW interface, Prime Care can combine Enquire’s referral data with data from critical third-party applications (EHR, accounting, purchasing, labor, staffing, etc.) to equip communities with a ‘bird’s eye’ view into their daily financial performance.

For post-acute providers, the benefit of this aggregated data is even greater. It helps them immediately cost out managed care referrals and accelerate decisions while steering their business toward the best possible performance.

“With the implementation of the Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM), post-acute care organizations require more data to make informed decisions around referrals. This partnership with Prime Care Technologies is invaluable to not only improve response time to managed care referrals, but also to maximize revenue opportunities,” states Robbie Redlin, Enquire Chief Strategy Officer.

“Accepting referral patients requires providers to consider multiple factors, including their ability to deliver a quality outcome, while also ensuring adequate reimbursement,” says Jim Hoey, Prime Care Technologies CEO. “We already provide the clinical and financial data they need, but Enquire’s referral data really completes the story for each potential resident, enabling facilities to make informed decisions in the moment.”

PrecisionOS Software Platform Expands to Train Orthopedic Surgical Nurses

News Image

Our team-based approach to VR education is a critical pathway to ensure we maintain the utmost safety for all health care providers, the students, and our patients

PrecisionOS, developers of the proficiency-based medical-grade virtual reality™ learning platform for surgeons, announced today their expansion into orthopedic surgical nurse training. Following the increased demand for remote training and society’s new accustoms to social distancing guidelines, PrecisionOS is committing to advance perioperative orthopedic nursing staff’s skill set by providing immersive learning through a VR experience. PrecisionOS technology will enhance knowledge and procedural step-based orthopedic skills in support of traditional mentorship-based nurse training.

“Patient-centered care relies on a highly skilled team. Like all parts of our society today the precautions surrounding COVID-19 restrict the ongoing training and preparation that my operating room colleagues and I can participate in. Over the past weeks, I’ve consulted with Nursing experts and the need is clear,” said Dr. Danny Goel, an orthopedic surgeon in Vancouver, BC and Chief Executive Officer of PrecisionOS. “In high risk, fast-paced environments such as the OR, nurses need to practice in realistic virtual environments where errors, and needed patient interventions can be recognized, failures detected, corrected, and skills practiced,” says Dr. Patricia Benner, Professor Emerita, University of California, San Francisco, School of Nursing. Director of EducatingNurses.Com and Co-Founder and Faculty Development Consultant, NovEx, E-Learning Program. “PrecisionOS provides such an environment, where nurses can safely learn from errors, and provide new levels of patient safety. Such realistic simulations allow for gaining the perceptual-grasp needed for “knowing -how and when” to act (situated cognition) in real patient care situations.”

The PrecisionOS software allows experiential learning while providing data on performance and decision-making processes. This is critical now more than ever, with COVID-19, where both nurses and surgeons have not been in the operating room performing elective cases for months.

Delays in procedures impact the whole dynamic of the OR. Where traditional training demonstrates limitations, PrecisionOS delivers a more consistent, regimented, and structured approach that can function independently from the availability and schedules of senior nurses. Receiving continued learning through a balanced and well-rounded model can help teams avoid redundancies within a more comprehensive and holistic system overall.

“The user-friendly PrecisionOS technology system couldn’t be available at a more convenient time,” said Sandy Randhawa, the Clinical Nurse Educator at Burnaby (British Columbia) Hospital where PrecisionOS has made their mark in OR nurse training. “Our current process uses an apprenticeship model where a junior nurse will assist by shadowing a senior nurse in the OR to teach the details of a case. “The COVID pandemic has forced us to innovate many aspects of patient care. Increased utilization of virtual care models is one example of this. We are very excited that Burnaby hospital will be the pilot site for PrecisionOS to train the next generation of OR Nurses.”

“The safe and efficient delivery of surgical care is like a symphony. The surgeon and nurses play a critical role in supporting each other during operative cases,” Dr. Goel said. “Our team-based approach to VR education is a critical pathway to ensure we maintain the utmost safety for all health care providers, the students, and our patients.”

With the PrecisionOS team already receiving positive feedback on the platform from nurses in Vancouver, the company is excited to continue rolling out this technology in additional installments and witness its impacts across a wider scope.

About Precision OS

Precision OS was founded by a team of clinical orthopedic surgeons and game developers to create the most relevant and applicable medical-grade-VR-simulation™ experience. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and backed by the prestigious AO Foundation, the company’s mission is to provide first-in-class orthopedic surgical training on a global scale. Given its focus on surgical education, PrecisionOS is a CME provider through the Royal College of Physicians, and Surgeons of Canada and the only scientifically validated, peer-reviewed and published immersive virtual reality product on the market. It has been tested among its end users and customers resulting in business relationships with some of the top orthopedic companies and societies in the industry.

Dr. William Lane Offers Specialized and Safe Wisdom Teeth Extractions at Lane Oral Surgery in Plymouth and Sandwich, MA

Dr. William Lane, Oral Surgeon in Plymouth and Sandwich, MA.

Dr. William Lane, Experienced Oral Surgeon, Serves Plymouth and Sandwich, MA

We recommend our patients have their wisdom teeth taken out while they are still young so the process is simpler and more precise.

Trusted oral surgeon, Dr. William Lane welcomes new and existing patients for safe, predictable wisdom teeth extractions in Plymouth and Sandwich, MA. He is also raising awareness of the advantage of receiving this treatment as soon as possible in order to receive a more successful surgery with faster healing times.

As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Lane has specialized training in carefully extracting wisdom teeth including complex cases with impacted teeth. Wisdom teeth, or third molars, often grow improperly and can severely damage the jaw, teeth, and health of patients if not removed by an experienced clinician. In many cases, this oral surgery treatment is not only less complex but easier for the patient when performed at a younger age.

“About one-third to one-half of our practice involves the extraction of wisdom teeth, and is done almost daily,” says Dr. Lane. “We recommend our patients have their wisdom teeth taken out while they are still young so the process is simpler and more precise. When you are younger, your jawbone is softer and the wisdom teeth roots are not fully developed, making the extraction process much more accurate and efficient.”

Wisdom teeth are extra molars that grow in the very back of the mouth during the late teenage years. These teeth often have minimal space to properly erupt within the jaw, and as a consequence, become impacted. An impacted tooth is one that has only partially come out from within the jawbone and gum tissue, and can cause pain, damage to surrounding teeth and become infected easily. Extraction of impacted wisdom teeth, or removing the wisdom teeth early before they have fully grown, leads to the most successful and painless results for patients.

Common symptoms of problem wisdom teeth include:

  • Sore facial muscles
  • Swollen face and cheeks
  • Difficulty or pain when biting and chewing
  • Crowding of existing teeth

Dr. Lane performs routine wisdom teeth extractions at his practice, Lane Oral Surgery. Using decades of experience, years of advanced training, and an expansive skill set, he is able to extract even the most complex of wisdom tooth cases with minimal discomfort to the patient.

Through the use of advanced cone beam CT scans, Dr. Lane is able to see exactly where in the jawbone wisdom teeth are located, including the position of tooth roots, nerves, and bone density. This helps him digitally prepare and plan the wisdom teeth extraction treatment. On the day of surgery, patients are often given IV sedation, a relaxing treatment that puts them in a sleep-like state and blocks sensations of discomfort. Dr. Lane is certified to administer IV sedation and monitor patients throughout the procedure. After extraction, patients will need to heal, but can expect to have a relief from tooth pain and future wisdom tooth problems.

Those interested in receiving a personalized wisdom teeth extractions consultation and find out if now is the right time for their treatment, can visit Lane Oral Surgery in either Plymouth or Sandwich, MA locations. Personalized appointments and consultations can be made by visiting http://www.laneoralsurgery.com or calling 508-746-8700.

LifeCare Enabling Millions Of Members To Adapt To Changing Work Conditions

LifeCare

LifeCare

As the nation adapts to these new COVID-19 requirements, LifeCare will be leading the way for millions, enabling them with the knowledge, guidance, and support to make their work transitions as seamless and stress-free as possible.

As the country reopens for business under new, unfamiliar rules and conditions, LifeCare – the industry’s #1 Work-Life provider – is providing millions of members with unprecedented, personalized support that reduces stress and increases productivity.

“Adapting to new demands and work conditions can be confusing, causing anxiety and lack of focus for employees and stress for employers navigating it all,” explains Peter Burki, Co-Founder & CEO of LifeCare. “Fortunately, our 24/7 specialists and personalized technology platform provide targeted support and services that alleviate those challenges, replacing the worry with expert guidance.”

Specifically, as the new COVID-19 restrictions created child and senior care demands nationwide, one LifeCare client experienced an unprecedented 6,396% utilization increase for their Backup Care Connection program – a premier service that provides secure, last-minute child care.

LifeCare’s adaptation to the historic demand was immediate and seamless, quickly collaborating with clients to creatively meet their expanding requirements and ensuring that employees had the support they needed.

In fact, across all clients, LifeCare has maintained a 99% rate of finding a backup care solution for members in need.

Overall, members are receiving the work assistance they need across varied situations:

  • One LifeCare member is a critical “essential worker” in the healthcare industry who was unable to get to work because, with schools closed due to COVID-19, there was no one to care for his children. He called a LifeCare specialist who immediately identified his needs then provided a solution using Backup Care Connection. This enabled the member to return to work and saving lives. He notes, “I’m greatly appreciative of having a service to care for our loved ones while we are at the forefront caring for others.”
  • The spouse of a LifeCare member was unexpectedly furloughed due to COVID-19, resulting in significant financial uncertainty and stress. LifeCare provided the member with the tailored guidance needed, finding multiple financial assistance and community resources that will help the member and her spouse cope with the financial impacts of the pandemic and beyond. The personalized guidance and tools will help her to remain focused, productive and more at ease while at work.

While every member’s needs are unique, LifeCare is managing soaring demand across five key service areas:

  • Work-Life: As employers and employees are faced with unique situations, including child care gaps, summer care, caregiving for aging loved ones, legal and financial concerns, and emotional health issues, Work-Life services help members navigate these challenges by locating, vetting and confirming availability of services and products, saving them time and reducing stress.
  • Backup Care Connection: As regular care plans are disrupted for children, aging loved ones, and even pets, this program finds members reliable, temporary care, even at the last minute. With center-based, in-home, or personal caregiver options, and program access via phone, web or mobile app, Backup Care Connection offers maximum support and flexibility, ensuring that members can choose the right care for them so that they can get to work.
  • Financial Wellness: In this time of business upheaval, record unemployment, and financial concerns, LifeCare provides the financial guidance and tools necessary to maximize members’ financial health and minimize the financial impact of the pandemic.
  • Homework Connection: With school buildings remaining closed for the remainder of the school year in most of the country, parents are now supporting teachers in the remote education of students. Additionally, parents are now concerned with the loss of learning their children may be facing due to distance learning. LifeCare’s Homework Connection provides 24/7 online access to professional tutors and educational tools, to help working parents avoid or minimize the added stress or time commitment brought about by a struggling student.
  • Integrated EAP: As the workforce is experiencing heightened levels of stress, anxiety and emotional health concerns, this program provides access to confidential counseling sessions for members and their whole household. They also have access to emotional health resources and information to help them cope, recover and build their mental strength.

Beyond their award-winning specialists, LifeCare also offers its members an abundance of COVID-19 tips, tools, and events offering exclusive insights on how best to adjust to today’s work environments. Backed by LifeCare’s technology platform, all information is delivered in personalized ways that ensure the greatest relevance for every member.

“As the nation adapts to these new COVID-19 requirements,” continues Mr. Burki, “LifeCare will be leading the way for millions, enabling them with the knowledge, guidance, and support to make their work transitions as seamless and stress-free as possible.”

R3 International Offering Stem Cell Therapy Program for Anti Aging in Mexico

Anti Aging Stem Cell Therapy in Mexico

Anti Aging Stem Cell Therapy in Mexico (888) 988-0515

Our stem cell anti aging treatments in Mexico have been exceptionally popular due to the continued success. Cell counts are really high, with treatment being very cost effective!

R3 Stem Cell International announced a new program offering stem cell therapy for anti aging in Mexico. The program offers several options with stem cell counts up to 200 million and pricing starting at $2950.

To date, R3 International has been offering stem cell therapy in Mexico successfully for many conditions including autism, COPD, kidney failure, liver disease, heart conditions, dementia, stroke, neuropathy and arthritis just to name a few. One of the main reasons the regenerative therapies work so well is due to the modulation of inflammation, which happens to be one of the key factors in the aging process.

Stem cell therapy for anti aging at R3 International is offered by experienced, licensed doctors who have performed hundreds of cases. There are 3 options for obtaining stem cell treatment in Mexico. The first involves a one time treatment of either 30 million or 50 million cells ($2950 or $3950). If desired, R3 also offers the option for 200 million cells over a 5 day period, or with several visits over a year (starts at $8975).

The treatments at R3 International involve stem cell biologics that have been extremely safe to date. The lab includes quality assurance standards that exceed those of the FDA in the US. Culturing of the umbilical cord stem cell material does not involve the need for preservative and is restricted below 5 generations. This means the stem cells are potent with viability exceeding 93%.

The process for receiving treatment starts with a free phone consultation with one of the licensed doctors. Then treatment is booked, and R3’s patient concierge representatives work with each patient on travel logistics. Support is provided throughout the process.

For more information on stem cell therapy for anti aging and to obtain a free consultation, call (888) 988-0515 or visit https://stemcelltreatmentclinic.com to learn more.

“As the economy starts reopening around the world, every organization needs to understand the short- and long-term implications of the pandemic on the population. Business leaders from all industries are looking at these unprecedented times as an opportunity to reimagine their business practices, reassess their marketing strategy, remap their customer journey, and rethink their brand experience. More than ever, business organizations need to engage with their customers to understand the level of disruption that took place and quickly adapt to a new business environment. We are pleased to be partnering with Netquest to conduct several surveys to gain early insights on people’s rapidly changing attitudes and behaviors,” notes Jeff Judek, CEO Psyma International.

“Taking the pulse of the US population, we were curious to learn how dynamics have shifted in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. This research helps to understand the implications and how to adapt to these disrupted times, while providing insight into people´s changing behaviors, attitudes, and activities. We are really grateful to be partnering with Psyma USA in order to bring light to this amazing and useful study,” says Ben Boix Managing Director, Netquest.

OVERVIEW:

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to have a major disruptive impact on our lives. As measures to counter the spread of the pandemic start to ease across the United States, the Psyma / Netquest survey initiative offers a snapshot of the attitudinal, behavioral, financial, and emotional impact of the pandemic on the population.

The survey consists of core questions covering consumers’ assessments of their personal financial situations, their buying attitudes and overall economic conditions. It also looks at current opinions of institutions (government, pharmaceutical industry, including vaccine manufacturers, healthcare professionals and scientific communities), as well as receptivity and readiness of being traced and vaccinated against COVID-19. The Psyma / Netquest survey offers early insight on behaviors that will likely stay beyond the pandemic restrictions (e.g., mask wearing, telehealth visits, online shopping, social distancing, school openings, and so forth).

Finally, it looks at what specific values, brands need to emphasize during these uncertain times.
