Reinforcing its commitment to elevate the human experience in healthcare, The Beryl Institute introduces the Patient and Care Partner Community in partnership with its Global Patient and Family Advisory Board. Joining the Institute’s other special interest communities, the Patient and Care Partner Community is a place for Patient and Family Advisors (PFAs), patients and care partners, defined as a patient’s circle of support, to make connections and find resources curated and created by their peers.
The community offers a resource page including patient and care partner reflections on white papers published through the Institute, an art series reflecting the lived experience of patients and their loved ones and relevant webinars, podcasts and blogs. These resources are intended as companions to the full breadth of patient experience offerings from the Institute. While these valuable resources were written specifically for PFAs, patients and care partners, they also provide insight for healthcare professionals seeking a deeper understanding of patient and care partner perspectives.
In addition to sharing content, the community will offer periodic events and networking opportunities for patients and care partners, including an annual gathering at The Beryl Institute’s global patient experience event, Elevate PX.
