News Image

“We are really excited to have won this business with Creative Virtual, and our customer is seeing the benefits today of our unmatched integration capabilities with this combined solution.” – Frank Schneider, Speakeasy AI

Speakeasy AI and Creative Virtual today jointly announced their first shared enterprise customer is live using their integrated solution for conversational AI within IVR. This partnership is delivering next generation voice AI by integrating Speakeasy AI’s solution with Creative Virtual’s V-Person™ virtual agent technology within the IVR channel for a better customer experience.

This enterprise has used Creative Virtual’s V-Person solutions to provide customer self-service since 2015 and to support contact center agents since 2019. This new integration utilizes real time speech understanding enabled by Speakeasy AI’s patent-pending Speech-to-Intent™ technology to expand the virtual agent to the enterprise’s Genesys IVR. They are now able to intelligently route calls to reduce transfer rates and get calls to the right agents at the right time. Additionally, Speakeasy AI’s ability to understand customers’ intents in their own voices opens up further development of the virtual agent within the channel, with an expected 20-40% expansion of self-serve use cases possible in IVR.

Frank Schneider, Speakeasy AI’s CEO says, “We are really excited to have won this business with Creative Virtual, and our customer is seeing the benefits today of our unmatched integration capabilities with this combined solution. We believe this is the first enterprise scale deployment of a fully integrated digital AI system within a voice channel.”

The integration of Speakeasy AI’s solution with V-Person empowers organizations to expand self-service from digital channels to voice channels quickly, with high accuracy and at large scale. The combined solution provides flexible integration with external content sources and backend systems for better voice responses and automation. It also delivers real-time reporting functionality that gives an in-depth look into what customers are asking to help enterprises identify their real needs and continuously improve the customer experience.

Chris Ezekiel, Founder & CEO of Creative Virtual says, “We collaborate closely with all of our customers to find ways they can expand their virtual agent and chatbot implementations to improve their end-to-end customer experience. This joint IVR deployment with Speakeasy AI is a great example of how enterprises benefit from the flexibility and robustness of V-Person technology and our growing Partner Network.”

Creative Virtual customers can use the Speakeasy AI integration during Active Listening phase as well as with the full delivery of the Speakeasy AI solution across voice self-service and voice live agent assistance.

Yamaha CP OS v1.4 Offers More Performance Options to CP73 and CP88 Stage Pianos with Stunning New Voices

News Image

“The new CP OS v1.4 update expands upon the instruments’ carefully selected sounds, giving musicians the expressive capabilities that they need to create,” said Nate Tschetter, manager, Synthesizer Marketing, Yamaha Corporation of America.

Yamaha today introduced the CP OS v1.4 update for the CP73 and CP88 stage pianos. With new Voices, improved workflow and additions to the popular Sub Section, the CP73 and CP88 once again set the bar for intuitive operation, sound and playability in a professional instrument.

The new OS v1.4 builds upon the keyboards’ previous update, CP OS v1.3, with two added Voices for greater studio and performance options. The new Nashville C3 Voice offers players an inspiring vintage grand piano sound with the characteristic sounds of Nashville. The samples were processed using analog tape at Yamaha Entertainment Group studios in order to create its vintage character. The new CF3 Live Voice was added at players’ request for the second characteristic sound of the Yamaha CP300 stage piano after the addition of the CFIII acoustic grand piano in the previous update. The CP300 is known for being able to cut through dense arrangements, with a bright, powerful sound. The Voice has been optimized for an even better presence in a mix and will be featured prominently in large line-ups.

CP OS v1.4 expands the Sub Section—a popular choice of the keyboards’ three sections—for added flexibility and creativity when it comes to creating sonic spaces. New pads, strings, synths, a powerful Sforzando Brass Section and both a classical and Western guitar have been added to the Sub Section’s current selection of strings, brass and synths.

In response to musicians’ feedback, the update also includes workflow enhancements making it easier to navigate and adjust settings and menus. The Voice selection window now features a list view so players can select sounds with ease.

“The CP73 and CP88 stage keyboards were crafted to deliver the authentic sounds that artists are looking for in an intuitive, modern instrument,” said Nate Tschetter, manager, Synthesizer Marketing, Yamaha Corporation of America. “The new CP OS v1.4 update expands upon the instruments’ carefully selected sounds, giving musicians the expressive capabilities that they need to create.”

Introspect Technology Is the 34th Fastest Growing Company in Québec According to L’Actualité

Introspect Among Growth Leaders in Quebec

Introspect Among Growth Leaders in Quebec

The list of Growth Leaders underlines the success of Québec entrepreneurs who generate innovations and jobs, and whose business growth is a source of wealth for Québec.

Introspect Technology is proud to announce that it is ranked 34th on L‘Actualité’s 2020 Growth Leaders list. This list was established based on submissions by Québec companies entered in the Canada’s Top Growing Companies competition, a partnership of The Globe and Mail and L’Actualité. The ranking is based on their revenue growth from 2016 to 2019. Introspect Technology’s growth is 202%.

Creating a new category in electronic design and validation tools, Introspect Technology’s products combine high performance with ultra-compactness and attractive price economy. Introspect Technology’s pioneering technology replaces large rooms’ worth of equipment with devices that can literally fit into a single briefcase and without compromising on performance. “A few years ago, we set out to do for electronic testing what the smartphone did for the computer,” says Dr. Mohamed Hafed, Introspect Technology CEO. “In looking at a smartphone, we saw a compute device providing compute access to more people in more circumstances. Similarly, we created a new category of test equipment that provided world-class equipment availability and ease of use to a wide range of engineers operating across a wide range of engineering disciplines. We did not fit in any conventional category; we created our own one, which filled a major gap at large companies,” he adds. With its award-winning products and associated powerful software suite, Introspect Technology filled this new niche – and across such a wide spectrum in the electronic production process – with awe-inspiring ease.

The list of Growth Leaders underlines the success of Québec entrepreneurs who generate innovations and jobs, and whose business growth is a source of wealth for Québec. Companies submitted their application for the competition on a voluntary basis. Sixty-one companies are featured in the 2020 ranking. The full list of winners and the accompanying report can be viewed now online at lactualite.com/dossier/leaders-de-la-croissance-2020/ and will be published in the November issue of L’Actualité , on newsstands October 9.

About Introspect Technology

Founded in 2012 through self-funding, Introspect Technology designs and manufactures innovative test and measurement equipment for high-speed digital applications. Whether it is the next smartphone or the level-4 autonomy engine in a mobility solution, our award-winning tools are used to develop, test, and manufacture next-generation products. In short, we help the leading global technology companies make tomorrow’s technology today’s possibility.

The Design-Build-Vertical Flight Student Competition is the successor to the VFS Micro Air Vehicle (MAV) Student Challenge. Shown is the 2018 MAV team from Vaughn College of Aeronautics & Technology.

The competition is designed to develop hands-on skills and familiarization with electric VTOL and urban air mobility (UAM) technology at the university student level and prepare the next generation of engineers and leaders to push the limits of this exciting technology into the future.

The Vertical Flight Society (VFS) today announces the details of the inaugural Design-Build-Vertical Flight (DBVF) Student Competition. This electric-powered remote-control vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) competition seeks to encourage interest in unmanned aircraft technology, and small air vehicle design and fabrication. The competition is designed to develop hands-on skills and familiarization with electric VTOL and urban air mobility (UAM) technology at the university student level and prepare the next generation of engineers and leaders to push the limits of this exciting technology into the future.

The inaugural DBVF competition is the successor to the annual VFS Micro Air Vehicle (MAV) Student Competition. The highly successful MAV competitions began in 2013 and expanded over eight years from a 1.1 lb (500 g) gross weight to 3 lb (1.4 kg), with increasingly challenging levels of mission complexity.

The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Army Research Laboratory (ARL) is the platinum sponsor and the host for the first DBVF competition. The flyoff competition will be held at ARL’s Robotics Research Collaboration Campus (R2C2) at Graces Quarters in Maryland on April 16–17, 2021.

The general aircraft requirements are restricted to the unmanned aircraft system (UAS) Group 1, which limits the maximum take-off weight (MTOW) to no more than 20 lb (9.1 kg). Aircraft size and weight will factor into the competition. To participate, five-page proposals must be submitted by student teams no later than Oct. 15, 2020. Full details, including the request for proposal (RFP), frequently asked questions (FAQ), links and more are available on the competition website: http://www.vtol.org/fly.

A total of $5,000 in cash awards will be given in two rounds: $1,000 for submission of the three best preliminary design reports in December, and $4,000 in awards for the top three teams during the flyoff competition in April. Additional sponsors are welcome.

The Vertical Flight Society encourages universities from around the world to form teams and take part in this exciting and challenging competition, which is conducted to promote student interest in VTOL engineering and technology, and to attract the best and brightest engineering students to the vertical flight industry.

VFS is the world’s premier VTOL technical society and conducts extensive educational activities. In addition to the world’s largest and longest running VTOL technology conference (this year’s 76th Annual Forum & Technology Display will be held virtually on Oct. 5-8, 2020), VFS leads science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) outreach activities, conducts the annual collegiate VFS Student Design Competition and provides extensive educational resources for students and professional development.

Since it was founded as the American Helicopter Society in 1943, VFS has been a major force in the advancement of vertical flight. The Society is the global resource for information on VTOL technology. For more than 75 years, VFS has provided global leadership for scientific, technical, educational and legislative initiatives that advance the state of the art of vertical flight.
