New WORX 40 Volt 20 Inch Snow Blower Eliminates Extension Cord, Gas and Oil and Costly Tuneups

WORX 40V Power Share 20 in. Snow Blower

Clearing snow-covered driveways, sidewalks and patios just got easier with the new WORX 40V Power Share 20 in. Snow Blower with brushless motor. This portable snowblazer can hurl dry snow up to 20 ft. through its 180º adjustable discharge chute with deflector.

WORX combines two 20V, 4.0 Ah Max Lithium batteries to deliver 40V of power. The batteries drive the snow blower’s high-efficiency brushless motor, which generates more power to extend run time and battery life. The single stage snow blower’s brushless motor has a no-load speed of 2300 rpm.

The snow blower’s auger is 20 in. wide and 10 in. high to churn up and lift snow from its path. The discharge chute’s rotation handle enables the user to rotate the chute 180°. The chute’s deflector also is adjustable to direct the trajectory of the snow with a throw distance of 20 ft.

The 41.9 lb. snow blower features a fully-collapsible handle and a convenient built-in carrying handle for easy storage or transport. The machine’s 8 in. wheels provide traction and mobility. Dual LED lights provide visibility at dusk and nighttime operation. The LEDs function once the snow blower is powered on and the bail handle is squeezed.

Startups are easy with the WORX 40V Power Share Snow Blower. Press and hold the lock-off button to the right of the handle, and then squeeze the bail and it’s ready to go. To stop the machine, release the bail and it stops instantly. Always remove the batteries first, before dislodging clogged snow from the auger or discharge chute. Frigid temperatures can affect battery performance, so keep batteries inside when the snow blower is not in use.

Ideal conditions for the cordless snow blower are freshly fallen, dry fluffy snow. For wet snow conditions, remove the snow in intervals to avoid motor strain. The snow blower’s maximum depth capacity is 10 in. However, during heavy snow falls, run the snow blower in stages to reduce the load. Also, when positioning the discharge chute, note the wind’s direction so the snow isn’t thrown back in the direction of the operator or path being cleared.

The two WORX 20V, 4.0 Ah Max Lithium batteries are located in a sealed compartment. An external fuel gauge indicates how much power remains before both batteries need recharging. A 4-amp dual-port battery charger is included, and takes 2 hours to bring both batteries to a full charge. Run time varies based on snow removal conditions. The WORX 20V 4.0 Ah batteries are compatible with more than 35 other WORX lawn and garden and DIY tools for cost-savings and convenience.

The WORX 40V Power Share Snow Blower (WG385, $399.99) is available at worx.com and Amazon. The snow blower includes 2, 20V 4.0 Max Lithium batteries and a dual-port charger. The snow blower is covered by the WORX five-year limited warranty.

Learn Electronics and How to Design Your Own Printed Circuit Boards from the Best Selling Electronics Course on the Planet

"Crash Course Electronics and PCB Design" with over 34,000 students.

“Crash Course Electronics and PCB Design” with over 34,000 students.

Graduates have went on to build countless products.

Crash Course Electronics and PCB Design was designed to educate students from mystery to mastery in Electronics and PCB Design. This massive course was custom made for those interested in learning electronics from the ground up that wish to leverage that knowledge to build actual printed circuit boards (PCBs) and products.

There is no other course like this in existence that has the depth and breadth of Crash Course Electronics. The course starts with atomic physics and the electron; before long students are learning Ohm’s Law, circuit analysis, AC, DC, complex impedance, RC and RL circuits, filters, amplifiers, transistors, FETs, analog and digital theory — too much to list here!

But, unlike other courses that are highly technical and math based. Crash Course Electronics was designed to be taken as a journey with the instructor. Each lecture building on the last, each new concept like a new puzzle approached in many different ways. The most complex topics and mathematical concepts are distilled down into understandable lectures and are a lot of fun as well. Each lecture is given as if the instructor and student are both learning for the first time and makes no assumptions about your background.

As students progress through the lectures, expect to see every circuit and idea worked out on the black board, virtually simulated (with Labcenter Proteus), and built by hand right on camera in real-time 1080P with HDR video and noiseless audio. Not only will students learn all the theory and practical aspects of Electrical Engineering, but Computer Scientist and Electrical Engineer Andre LaMothe’s 35+ years of experience with electronics is available to students with countless real-world tips and tricks that will take hobbyists to a deep understanding of the subject matter.

Once students have all the basic electronic theory under their belts, the course pivots to product development mode and PCB design and not one, not two, but three complete products (including a working Arduino) are developed. Lectures cover the design, motivation, looking up parts, background information, and then design the circuits together like colleagues, lay them out in Altium CircuitMaker, route them, verify and produce manufacturing files.

Finally, students will learn how to take those files and send them to a number of online manufactures and get them ready for production.

Students interested in learning Electronics or PCB Design, or simply want a refresher course then head on over to Udemy and check out “Crash Course Electronics and PCB Design” with over 145 lectures, and 100+ hours of video.
