Past Project – Frozen Ice Gaming Build

Each customer gets an initial complimentary 30-minute consult on designing the ultimate dream computer. Our custom PC experts not only focus on the customer’s part requirements, but the design and color scheme are also priorities.

In New York Computer Help’s 34th Street Repair Center, Idit Silverman, its owner, explains, “We have personalized the whole custom PC build experience. The industry has been selling custom PC builds, but that has been the end of interaction. No support has been provided since the purchase. Instead, customers have been frustrated by being forced to deal with parts manufacturers to return any faulty parts or left to troubleshoot issues on their own. Now, we have offered a full insurance protection plan for all of customers who have us design and build their custom build PCs.”

Silverman explains that each customer gets an initial complimentary 30-minute consult on designing the ultimate dream computer. Then, their custom PC experts not only focus on the customer’s part requirements, but the design and color scheme are also priorities. After the build is complete, an insurance protection plan at only $15/month covers all support and service for any issues.

Performance, tower size, water cooling systems, mixing and matching part colors are critical factors that the New York Computer Help team pays attention to. The industry or function the computer will be built for also play key roles. Silverman notes as an example that L’Oréal just ordered five custom PC builds for its design rendering team. “Each case needed three or four video cards along with a special color theme to blend into its designer environment,” she said. Silverman also mentioned how gamers and companies design their custom machines based on their respective games and company software. Custom machines have been designed for Cyberpunk gaming tournaments as well as for trading desks and small offices.

Industries include: business executives, traders, gamers, video editors, remote workers, and students. Silverman mentioned, “The work environment is more of a hybrid one nowadays where we are designing home builds for those who still want office-level performance. Similarly, in the office, our customers require faster performance for demand-hungry software and projects.”

In general, New York Computer Help’s custom build will cost you at least $5,000. Silverman said New York Computer Help’s unique human touch element here carries on well after the computer sale by also offering full system insurance support and coverage.

New York Computer Help is different. This revolutionary tech company not only provides the design and custom build to order, but now also allows customers to leverage its top-notch insurance warranty. For only $15/month, customers are covered for any and all custom pc build services going forward. “We have always been a customer-focused, service-first company,” Silverman says. “This blend of high level custom build design and total care coverage gives our customers a sense of comfort and stability.”

10ZiG® Technology Innovates Cloud Agent Authentication Feature as Part of its No-Cost Management Software, The 10ZiG Manager™

10ZiG® Technology Develops Cloud Authentication Process as a New Feature for its FREE Enterprise Centralized Management Software Tool, The 10ZiG Manager™.

This new authentication feature adds an extra layer of security, in that the connecting Clients can verify as being part of the organization. IT Admins. can try it out for themselves with our Free Demo program at 10ZiG.com.

Over recent years, 10ZiG Thin & Zero Client Hardware Specialists, have been earning quite a reputation in the VDI space for The 10ZiG Manager™, 10ZiG’s FREE Enterprise Centralized Management Software for endpoints running on a 10ZiG OS in a virtual desktop environment – from x86 devices to laptops, tablets, or old, outdated endpoints, etc. Providing IT Administrators with the choice of managing endpoints via traditional LAN/WAN or the Cloud, The 10ZiG Manager™ is equipped with innovative, cutting-edge features that make deploying and managing large volumes easy, and now even more securely, regardless of location.

The Cloud Connector, an integral part of The 10ZiG Manager™ Software Platform working in tandem with its Server, Console, and Web Manager settings, now features integrated Cloud Agent Authentication. 10ZiG Cloud Agents featured on 10ZiG Linux and Windows based endpoints can now be authenticated via the Cloud Connector using the 10ZiG Cloud Connector Authorization tool. Authorization codes can be issued to a single Client or used by multiple Clients. This provides flexibility on authenticating each individual Client, or group authentication based on for example, issuing to temporary contracted workers.

When the appropriate setting is enabled for the 10ZiG Cloud Connector, only remote Cloud Agents configured with an authorization within the database would be authenticated to connect and register with The 10ZiG Manager™. Unauthorized connections would not be authenticated and would be rejected. The authorization exchange is fully encrypted, as is the primary Cloud Agent to the Cloud Connector after a Client is authorized, ensuring the key exchange is not openly visible. Furthermore, the Cloud Agent Authorization Code can be used in combination with the Cloud Agent Registration Code, the latter which is used to automatically filter Clients into Management Configuration Groups.

Vu Nguyen, 10ZiG Senior Software Engineer, “The primary goal of the Cloud Agent Authorization is to prevent unrecognized or rogue devices from registering themselves with The 10ZiG Manager™. This new authentication feature adds an extra layer of security, in that the connecting Clients can verify as being part of the organization. IT Admins. can try it out for themselves with our Free Demo program at 10ZiG.com.”

Go Connect Announces The First Smart Travel WiFi Products

Go Connect Go Travel Pro Cellular Hotspot

Go Connect Go Travel Pro Cellular Hotspot

With millions of people working remotely, returning to travel and relying on streaming services for entertainment, this product is a game changer

Go Connect formally announces the upcoming line of Smart Travel WiFi products. This user friendly product offers a game changing update to a long overlooked segment of portable travel technology.

Go Connect’s first of its kind smart features enable travelers and digital nomads to get connected quickly with a more effective WiFi connection. It alleviates the need to connect multiple devices individually; worry about the security of public access WiFi, or deal with endless loading delays or buffering while using the internet while traveling. With millions of people working remotely, returning to travel and relying on streaming services for entertainment, this product is a game changer.

Go Connect’s user centered experience is built used around the Go Connect mobile app, which allows users to quickly connect their Go Connect with little or no interaction. The device takes care of the rest.

In addition, Go Connect’s proprietary SmartBoost capabilities enhance WiFi connections using machine learning. When combined with their optional cellular capabilities, it will use both WiFi and cellular to provide even more reliable connections, all while consuming less data.

Security is always a concern when connecting at public or semi-private WiFi networks like hotels, Airbnbs or coworking locations. Go Connect protects you by automatically securing any WiFi connection. Their unique SmartSecurity system offers a superior experience to traditional VPN because it’s easier to use and focuses on the most critical data that needs to be secured. Go Connect’s SmartSecurity avoids the overhead and hassle you might experience with traditional WiFi security solutions.

“Travelers want to bring the technology and smart capabilities we enjoy at home while on the go. Go Connect’s devices makes it easy for anyone to bring streaming devices, smart speakers and smart assistants with them when traveling,” said CEO Paul Pezzano.

User Response

The customer first approach is present throughout. The Go Connect has focused its attention to the real challenges travelers face while bringing their tech enabled lives with them on the go, rather than on specs and numbers.

“Our focus has been on the key components: the ease of use, the reliability of the connection and the confidence to use available connections by ensuring security,” said COO JJ Crump.

To ensure they got it right, Go Connect Beta tested by putting their device in the hands of real people across a spectrum of technology savvy who were planning travel and/or were working remote.

The feedback from users has already been extremely positive.

“It was so easy to get connected, it’s an insta-buy just for that,” said family traveler and Beta Tester, Sara N.

Product Availability

Go Connect is currently completing their closed beta and large scale manufacturing is underway. The product is expected to go on sale in Q2 2021 direct from the Go Connect website. Expect Go Connect devices to be available from major online retailers such as Amazon in Q3 2021.

About Go Connect

Shifting the discussion surrounding cyber security

Prominent UK technology provider, Softcat, have given their view on why the C-suite and IT need to align when it comes to cyber security. Published by way of Fluent, Softcat’s dynamic new IT thought leadership platform, the article looks at the subject from a new angle.

For the most part, articles concerning cyber security are almost always written from the viewpoint of the cyber security team and Softcat are highlighting that to do so is to not get the full picture. As a result, Adam Louca, Chief Technologist Security, wrote this article with the goal of positively shifting the focus.

Louca explains his thinking saying, “I think it’s time to change the way we speak about cyber security”. And continues, “Boards are informed they need to continue investing in the next whizbang solution, be scared of the latest attack vector, or face the wrath of a nation state threat actor. What about if we imagine we are no longer IT professionals but have transitioned into the role of a member of the leadership team?”

Further into the article he poses the question of what a more balanced exchange of information would look like and how it might transform the response of the C-suite to the overall benefit of the business.

To read Louca’s perspective in full, you can access the article on Fluent – in addition to the wider collection of thought leadership pieces that share Softcat’s views on technological developments throughout the industry.

Fluent focuses on wide variety of key themes, which include:

Cyber security first aid

Aligning the C-suite with IT

Datacentre operations post-COVID-19

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

Leveraging forced changes in the healthcare market

Secure access service edge

Predicting the workplace of tomorrow

Digital transformation outlook

Managing teams remotely

HerdDogg Launches First Commercially Available Long-Range Smart Tags for Livestock Care

“Our, Bluetooth 5 tags ensure that animals can spend more time in the field and can be remotely monitored over longer distances,” said Melissa Brandao, HerdDogg Founder and Chief Revenue Officer.

HerdDogg, Inc. today announced the general availability of its long-range ear tags for livestock, part of the company’s broader data collection and analysis platform that enables producers to monitor animal health and farm-to-fork traceability.

HerdDogg’s DoggTags use Bluetooth 5 technology to capture sensor data within an active smart tag attached to the animal’s ear which reads at distances of 100 yards or more — much farther than with RFID or other short-range tags — and produces real-time alerts, animal location and health.

The company’s patented technology is a small, lightweight tag designed for easy installation on cattle, bison and other livestock. The HerdDogg’s TraceTag reports identification and location and lasts up to five years; the HerdDogg WelfareTag tracks animal biometrics and lasts up to two years. Both tags have LEDs that can be turned on directly from any smart phone. HerdDogg’s portable tag reader, the DoggBone is a Bluetooth-to-cellular bridge engineered for remote monitoring of livestock and can read tags at a distance of 100 yards or more. Sensor data is stored and forwarded from the hardware into the HerdDogg platform which supports both mobile and web users. Animal data is transmitted in real time and producers can augment animal records with their own insights and reporting.

“We’re bringing Bluetooth 5 technology to an application that is ideally fitted for it, beef cattle. Our, Bluetooth 5 tags ensure that animals can spend more time in the field and can be remotely monitored over longer distances,” said Melissa Brandao, HerdDogg Founder and Chief Revenue Officer. “The DoggBone is powerful enough to gather at long distances but portable enough to be moved with your herd or attached to drone for herd visibility in remote areas.”

Traditional RFID and other tag technologies have fallen short of producer requirements because of their limited readability and minimal data collectivity. In contrast, the HerdDogg platform enables automated data capture and analytics at an individual animal level which reduces animal handling and improves accuracy. Leveraging Bluetooth 5 the HerdDogg technology is offered at a far lower out-of-pocket cost to producers. The rich animal data sets can be easily shared with livestock buyers, which in turn increases animal value.

Brandao continues, “We’re bringing technology to the herd in the field where they want to be and data to the producer wherever they need to be. That has been our vision from the start.”

Chase Lockhart of the Lockhart Cattle Company clearly understands these benefits. The Wyoming-based 100% grass-fed producer said, “I want my cattle to spend as much time as they can in the field where their food is. It’s a game-changer for me if I don’t have to round them up for health checks or herd counts. The less you mess with your cattle the healthier they are. That’s good for both the cattle and the consumer.”

About HerdDogg

HerdDogg is passionate about livestock. Its innovative data platform sits at the intersection of Agtech, the Internet-of-Things and global food security. Our patented DoggTags and our DoggBone together with our Animal Traceability Platform help producers make more money from every animal they raise. The HerdDogg system enables animal tracking, welfare monitoring and traceability in an easy-to-use application.
