Honcho Appoints Tom Bubeck as CEO

[ad_1]

Tom Bubeck, CEO, Honcho

“Tom’s impeccable leadership experience and businesses growth success made him the unanimous choice to drive our mission to be the leading provider of proactive communications protection software and accelerate adoption.” – Rick Kushel, Co-founder and General Partner, FINTOP Capital

Honcho, the first AI-powered communications protection software that proactively trains employees as they type, today announced the appointment of Tom Bubeck as CEO. Bubeck brings strong strategic leadership and compliance experience to the role of leading the company through its next phase of growth. Top brands count on Honcho to foster inclusive, compliant and fair business communications.

Bubeck has a consistent record of driving growth and exit strategies for rapid growth B2B technology organizations like LRN and S&P CapitalIQ. In his most recent role as Chief Operating Officer for LRN, a leading provider of ethics and compliance technology enabled education solutions, Bubeck took full command of the P & L and led the 250+ person multinational company to a turnaround that resulted in the company’s successful exit. Bubeck’s passion for creating solutions that foster great cultures and compliance was originally inspired by his work at Columbia University’s School of Law.

“Tom’s impeccable leadership experience, compliance training and SaaS technology businesses growth success — which spans two decades — made him the unanimous choice to drive our mission to be the leading provider of proactive communications protection software and accelerate adoption,” said Honcho board member Rick Kushel, Co-founder and General Partner, FINTOP Capital.

Bubeck joins Honcho at a time in which demand for its solutions is peaking in alignment with market trends and conditions that favor purpose, culture, responsibility, ethics and compliance. Growth of Honcho’s existing client base as well as significant funnel activity in sectors like finance, technology, insurance, sports, media and entertainment reflect growing interest in the company’s offerings. In addition to the trends, Bubeck attributes Honcho’s growth to the very real multi-billion dollar risks that companies who do not get ahead of potential business communications crises face.

“100% of companies communicate digitally,” said Bubeck. “All of them will encounter digital communications that put them and their employees at risk. Size doesn’t protect you. In recent years, dozens of Fortune 500 companies, major sports leagues, media and entertainment companies and financial services firms have been sued for damages over $100Million and settled or were found responsible for harmful digital communications that transpired across their workplaces.”

While many great companies use Honcho, its business to-date has been driven by the tip of the iceberg.

“All cultures and businesses are defined by what the people within them say and do,” said Bubeck. Today’s best CXOs, HR, corporate communications and DEI leaders know this. What they may not know is that every individual in their organizations can now access a spell-check like solution and receive the ongoing training they need to ensure their communications are aligned with their business communication goals.”

Until recently, while communications protection solutions existed, they fell far short of providing business leaders and their teams with the tools, training and reporting needed to continuously communicate effectively and compliantly — making it impossible to mitigate the $227.5 Billion* corporate risk organizations face when they do not get ahead of bullying, harassment or discrimination. Financial services companies and other regulated entities such as oil and gas trading companies face even greater risks because they have additional communication obligations related to regulations overseen by the SEC and FERC.

Honcho was designed to arm these leaders with everything they need in one place.

According to Michael Berry of MRB Compliance and the former Director of Compliance, PetroChina International Inc. (America) and Head of Compliance, BP North America,”What makes Honcho unique is it is the only solution that takes a proactive approach to business communications protection, guiding clients to the best choices before they send their messages.his allows teams. This allows compliance teams to manage communications risks much more effectively, while also protecting the business.”

As Bubeck takes the helm, Honcho has several key initiatives underway to help elevate and align its brand with client and market needs and its own growth trajectory. As the executives onboard and mobilize the team, they are now sharing those plans with their clients, partners and other stakeholders. BuyDRM Expands KeyOS Content Security Platform with the MultiMark Watermarking Server

[ad_1]

News Image

“Our partnership with BuyDRM will help service providers and content owners secure and protect their live and on-demand content efficiently and cost-effectively.” – Alain Durand, Senior Director at Synamedia and former CEO of ContentArmor

BuyDRM announced today the expansion of the KeyOS content security platform with the release of the MultiMark Server supporting just-in-time forensic watermarking and DRM. This addition strengthens BuyDRM’s arsenal of content security solutions aimed at deterring OTT streaming piracy.

MultiMark tracks the illegal distribution of content back to the source through a forensic watermarking application. Using MultiMark, forensic watermarking is combined with the application of consumer DRM encryption just-in-time for the user’s playback session. The watermarking and DRM travel with the content across all devices in all places and playback attempts.

BuyDRM has announced that MultiMark will ultimately include a multi-watermarking delivery model using the best of breed watermarking technologies available today for streaming and downloadable live and VoD content. In the initial release, MultiMark’s watermarking capability will be powered by Synamedia’s ContentArmor. Subsequent releases will offer users a choice of watermarking technologies from ContentArmor, NexGuard from NAGRA and ASiD from Friend MTS.

ContentArmor’s forensic watermarking solution operates without having to decompress the video. Watermarking insertion is done by modifying the bitstream which delivers blitz-fast embedding. MultiMark utilizes ContentArmor for protection of VoD DASH and HLS streaming and downloadable content. Live support is in alpha trials and is expected Q222.

Today, forensic watermarking combined with consumer DRM encryption affords the highest level of security available for streaming and downloadable video. Used together, the MultiMark Server and the Multikey Service and Server provide a full-spectrum of technologies for combatting the piracy of streaming and downloadable video.

KeyOS is an award-winning, content security platform for premium video content with studio-approved multi-DRM and watermarking technologies that safeguard the distribution of high-value video content. BuyDRM supports the fight against piracy and continues to strengthen KeyOS with new best of breed technologies and best practices.

“MultiMark is the evolution of seven years of applied watermarking technology combined with 20 years of commercial DRM development,” said Christopher Levy, BuyDRM CEO & Founder. “MultiMark provides a new approach to video security which is unparalleled in our industry. This is why we are proud to announce our intentions to support a wide array of watermarking technologies from companies like, ContentArmor, FriendMTS and NAGRA,” said Levy.

“Forensic Watermarking has a critical role to play in the fight against piracy” said Alain Durand, Senior Director at Synamedia and former CEO of ContentArmor. “Our partnership with BuyDRM will help service providers and content owners secure and protect their live and on-demand content efficiently and cost-effectively.”

“We’re excited to expand the distribution footprint of our NexGuard forensic watermarking solution with BuyDRM,” said Ken Gerstein, VP Sales, NAGRA Anti-Piracy & NexGuard. “We look forward to broadening the reach of NexGuard which is trusted by content owners, aggregators and distributors worldwide to protect their most valuable content assets.”

“Friend MTS’ content protection technologies detect, deter and disable piracy for some of the biggest brands in content creation, broadcasting and distribution,” said John Ward, Executive Vice President, Americas, Friend MTS. “We’re thrilled to be able to offer that critical protection to a wider audience as part of MultiMark from BuyDRM.”

Goliath Technologies Announces Enhancements to Goliath Performance Monitor

[ad_1]

“This release could not come at a better time. IT Pros are battling to quickly troubleshoot issues and ensure a positive end-user experience with the continued trend of “Work From Anywhere” and the shortage of Citrix experts.”

Goliath Technologies, a leader in end-user experience monitoring and troubleshooting software for hybrid cloud environments, announced today the release of Goliath Performance Monitor 11.9.2. New features include a Citrix NetScaler Module and industry-only VMware Horizon End-User Experience Scorecard.

The new Citrix NetScaler Module adds enhanced monitoring intelligence for Citrix NetScaler (a.k.a. ADC or Application Delivery Controller), expanding the scope of Goliath’s proactive end-user experience monitoring and troubleshooting software. The module enables automatic scanning and identification of performance issues, faults, and errors taking place on the NetScaler.

Critical data is gathered and displayed in monitoring dashboards and troubleshooting views through Goliath’s intelligent Automatic Citrix Discovery and Dependency Map, enabling IT administrators to conduct contextual analysis. This functionality expedites root cause analysis and identification of performance issues in the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment. In addition, proactive alerting based on corporate or industry standards can be set to notify IT admins in advance of issues.

“The 11.9.2 release expands on Goliath’s embedded Citrix intelligence and automation, proactively alerting IT admins on NetScaler issues that could impact user experience,” notes Ted Rainey, Senior Director of Product Management at Goliath. “Given the critical Secure Access Gateway role that NetScaler ADC provides in enabling remote access to Citrix environments, this release could not come at a better time. IT Pros are battling to quickly troubleshoot issues and ensure a positive end-user experience with the continued trend of “Work From Anywhere” and the shortage of Citrix experts.”

“NetScaler is the most critical part of any Citrix deployment,” noted Brian Diamond, CEO of LANStatus, a Citrix Platinum partner and Goliath service partner. “Goliath’s unique dependency mapping capability provides much needed visibility into the performance of this component of an end-user computing infrastructure.”

The release also includes enhanced user experience analytics for enterprises utilizing VMware Horizon, such as an industry-only End-User Experience Scorecard. This new feature enables IT decisionmakers to objectively view the quality of end-user experience, instead of relying on subjective feedback or point-in-time surveys. This allows IT teams to report on end-user experience metrics with definitive proof and how they compare to industry best practices.

As Goliath continues to optimize the unified view of end-user experience data across any hybrid landscape using Citrix or VMware delivery systems, IT is well positioned to proactively ensure a trouble-free digital computing experience for remote and mobile workforces, regardless of where the users or workloads are located.

About Goliath Technologies

Goliath Technologies enhances end-user experience by enabling proactive IT. Our end-user experience management, monitoring, and troubleshooting products leverage embedded intelligence and automation to proactively identify events and conditions that cause performance issues and resolve them automatically with self-healing capabilities before end users are impacted. Emilia Clarke’s SameYou Charity For Brain Injury Recovery Launches NFT Series On the Seva.Love NFT Platform for Good

[ad_1]

SameYou, the charity founded by Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke, today announced an NFT for good initiative to develop better recovery treatments for more than 80 million brain injury and stroke survivors around the world.

“I’ve experienced two brain aneurysms and the incredible health care workers are one of the biggest reasons I was able to come out even stronger,” said Clarke. “Nearly one-in-three people will suffer from brain injury in their lifetime, and SameYou’s purpose is to increase access to rehabilitation, ensuring survivors have the best chance of recovery.”

The drop will include both digital and physical items, including the one-of-a-kind Atelier Versace dress Emilia debuted on the red carpet at the 68th Emmy Awards in 2016. The NFT artwork will feature 2D, 3D, Pure Reality and hologram imagery created by award-winning photographer Steven Sebring and a series by DreamView, which will pair experiential mindscape of brain-injury healing with spoken word by Emilia Clarke. The collection also includes a limited edition digital recreation of the dress that can be displayed and worn by one’s avatar in the metaverse of their choice.

“The gown is the heaviest I’ve ever worn and is made of metal mesh, which became Gianni Versace’s famous trademark in the early 1980s,” continued Clarke. “And to me, the metal build of the dress symbolizes the strength, power and resilience of brain trauma survivors. I almost feel like there is a little bit of Khalessi ready to go into battle in this chainmail gown.”

The charity project will launch on the social good NFT metaverse platform SEVA.LOVE, founded by Deepak Chopra and Poonacha Machaiah. SEVA.LOVE empowers artists to create unique NFT collections and engage their communities for social transformation. The platform enables artists to apply their art and creativity into meaningful global action, empowering communities to be catalysts for positive social and planetary transformation.

“The digital ecosystem is playing an increasingly bigger role in every part of our lives, and that includes social good initiatives,” said Poonacha Machaiah, co-founder and CEO, SEVA.LOVE. “Whether it be raising awareness for mental health, suicide prevention, poverty and hunger, violence against women or climate action, SEVA.LOVE is here to power NFT initiatives. And we’re honored to help support SameYou’s NFT project that will help millions of people globally.”

Entertainment and brand advisory holding company Subnation Media will guide the development of SameYou’s NFT initiative. Subnation helps companies like Atari Hotels and NASCAR develop Web3 strategies, which includes metaverse experiences, NFT’s, avatars, digital goods, and more.

Supermicro customizable workstations and servers

Minimally Configured Systems

Visiting one of our nationwide locations affords business customers the experience and expertise of our dedicated staff at their disposal.

Micro Center (microcenter.com), one of the largest computer and consumer electronics retailers in the United States, has expanded its product selection for excelling small business solutions. Micro Center offers high-performance products such as workstations and servers to keep business customers productive. In addition, a select number of stores allow business customers to build their workstations or servers from minimally configured systems or upgrade with enterprise-ready components.

Small businesses have redefined the need for computing power. This is evident with the “creator economy.” A decade ago, this audience was not as prevalent as it is today. In 2006, former Wired editor Chris Anderson foretold in his book ‘The Long Tail,’ “when the tools of production are available to everyone, everyone becomes a producer.” The creator economy includes industries such as gaming, finance, medical & scientific, media & entertainment, engineering & architecture, data science & AI professionals.
