Winners of 2022 Georgia CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards Announced

GeorgiaCIO announced the winners of its 2022 CIO of the Year® ORBIE® Awards. GeorgiaCIO recognized chief information officers in seven key categories – Super Global, Global, Large Enterprise, Enterprise, Large Corporate, Corporate, & Healthcare. The Awards were presented at the Georgia CIO ORBIE Awards at Cobb Galleria.

The 2022 Georgia CIO ORBIE Award winners are:

›› Jean Holley, Board Director, HERC Holdings Inc & Accord Financial Corp. received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

›› Vijay Raghavan, EVP & CTO, Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions Group received the Super Global ORBIE for organizations over $3 billion annual revenue & multi-national operations.

›› Daniel Volk, SVP, CIO, Crawford and Company received the Global ORBIE for organizations over $1 billion annual revenue & multi-national operations.

›› Mike Guhl, CIO, HD Supply received the Large Enterprise ORBIE for organizations over $2 billion annual revenue.

›› Dr. Tim Chester, VP for IT, University of Georgia received the Enterprise ORBIE for organizations over $1 billion annual revenue.

›› Scott Waid, SVP, Head of Technology, Atlanta Braves National League Baseball Club received the Large Corporate ORBIE for organizations $400 million annual revenue.

›› Elizabeth Hoemeke, CIO, One Inc received the Corporate ORBIE for organizations up to $400 million annual revenue.

›› Dr. Hank Capps, EVP, Chief Information & Digital Officer, Wellstar Health System received the Healthcare ORBIE for hospitals & healthcare organizations.

The CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards is the premier technology executive recognition program in the United States. Since inception in 1998, over 500 CIO of the Year winners have received the prestigious ORBIE Award. The ORBIE honors chief information officers who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership.
