What Procedure Is Going To Get You The “Fox Eye” Look According To Our Experts At the Naderi Center

If you are up to date on all of the latest trends, you know about the “fox eye” trend. Celebrities like Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner have what people call the “fox eye” look. Our Board-Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Jessica Kulak, focuses solely on the eyes, face, and neck and weighs in on what procedure or combination of procedures can be done to achieve the fox eye look.

A blepharoplasty is an eyelid surgery that can be done to the upper eyelid or the lower eyelid. A blepharoplasty addresses excess skin and fat on the eyelids. An upper blepharoplasty combats sagging eyelids, while a lower blepharoplasty usually gets rid of under-eye bags. Dr. Kulak says that blepharoplasty can “clean up the look of the eyes, giving the patient a nice, natural crease.” She also says that the procedure will make the eyes look more open and brighten their appearance, but it will not change the shape of the eyes, therefore will not give you the fox eye look.

A brow lift is a procedure done to alter brow position and address excess skin on the forehead. This gets rid of wrinkles and can open up the eyes. A brow lift fixes drooping brows, improves the appearance of the hairline, and freshens up the patient’s eye area.

There are many different types of brow lifts, but not all of them will give the fox eye appearance. Dr. Kulak says a patient looking for a “fox eye” result would be a candidate for a temporal brow lift. Botox and Dysport can also give a subtle fox eye effect as well. Dr. Kulak explains that the best and longest-lasting way to achieve the fox eye effect would be to get a temporal brow lift and supplement it with Botox or Dysport injections every 3 to 4 months.
