Vulnerability Management Data Quadrant

SoftwareReviews, a division of world-class IT research and consulting firm Info-Tech Research Group, has published its 2019 Vulnerability Management Data Quadrant Awards, naming three gold medalists based on excellent user reviews. The following vendors are leaders according to software users’ answers to some very interesting questions focused on user satisfaction, which have been crafted by seasoned IT industry analysts and backed by 22 years of IT research:

  • Rapid7 insightVM
  • Tenable
  • Beyond Security beSECURE (AVDS)

With a Net Emotional Footprint score of 93%, Rapid7 insightVM ranked highest among software users, earning the number-one spot in the areas of business value created, vendor support, and false positive identification. Tenable users were exceedingly satisfied, giving the vendor top scores in many areas, including ease of IT administration, new vendor alerts, and vulnerability definition updates, with a Net Emotional Footprint score of 84%. Beyond Security beSECURE (AVDS), with a Net Emotional Footprint score of 88%, performed consistently well according to software users, taking the number-one spot for quality of features, ease of customization, and integration with other security tools.

As explained by Filipe De Souza, senior research analyst at Info-Tech Research Group, “Vulnerability management solutions are starting to become a commoditized product. They are now considered a standard component of any security operations program. What will drive future product purchasing decisions is how these products are able to integrate with other security tools, while also easing the burden on practitioners through automation and orchestration.”

About SoftwareReviews Data Quadrant Awards and Software Reports
