Last year, amidst the middle of a pandemic, Village Dermatology announced it was opening a fourth location in Gardendale, AL. Now, a year later, they are celebrating the one-year anniversary of that location.

“We couldn’t be more excited about celebrating this anniversary. Given all that has happened in the last 12 months, I believe this is a testament to our team and their dedication to our mission.” explained Audrey Easterwood, Practice Administrator.

The Gardendale location serves patients from all over the north Birmingham metro area and provides a valuable alternative for those individuals that do not want to travel south into the city to receive dermatologic care. The Gardendale location is available for dermatology appointments on Wednesdays and Fridays and provides patients access to dermatological care at a convenient location.

“Opening the Gardendale location was a big step for our team last year, given the difficult task of navigating the situation we all faced with COVID-19,” stated Jenny Sobera, MD. “Our team is dedicated to this location and the patients we serve in that area. It has truly been rewarding to see the positive response we have received from our patients and the Gardendale community.”

Village Dermatology was founded in 2008 by Dr. Jenny Sobera. Dr. Sobera had the vision to bring world-class dermatology to her native home of Birmingham, AL.
