USA Emergency Centers is reinventing emergency medicine and launching new Ally Medical Emergency Room centers at five locations across Texas. The new brand reflects the company’s patient-first philosophy and focuses on empowering its healthcare team to offer the right care, right away.
“Our physician-owned ERs are designed to eliminate wait times and are equipped with qualified and dedicated staff members that focus on patients’ emergency care. We want our patients to feel at home at our ERs and consider us their allies when faced with a medical emergency,” said Dr. Jeremy Kenter. “Our board-certified emergency physicians, the majority of which are partners, take the time to listen to patients’ concerns and develop a treatment plan that responds to their specific needs,” continued Dr. Kenter.
Ally Medical ER is launching five freestanding emergency rooms across Texas, including Bastrop, South and Central Austin, Clear Lake, and Round Rock, with additional locations planned for 2021. The mission of the company, aligned with its brand vision, is to serve as an ally to patients and their communities to provide optimal and accessible emergency care.
Each Ally Medical ER is equipped to treat both minor and major medical emergencies for children and adults of all ages in a safe, stress-free setting. The ER facility provides on-site testing and imaging services, including ultrasound, X-ray, and CT scanners, that speed up diagnoses and treatments to stabilize acute illnesses and injuries. Ally Medical ERs also maintain hospital transfer agreements if a patient needs to be transferred for a longer inpatient stay, surgery, blood transfusions, and other higher acuity cases – including inpatient capabilities where a patient may be observed for up to 23 hours to ensure they are stable.
Dr. Kenter continued, “At our ERs, emergency physicians, nurses staff, and medical technicians work around the clock to deliver a full range of emergency and trauma care. Our team is empowered to develop the optimal care plan for patients and serve as their allies in health.”
Ally Medical ERs specializes in providing emergency care and trauma care, ranging from broken bones and other injuries to infections, allergy and asthma attacks, severe stomach pain, or chest pain that may indicate a severe condition.
USA Emergency Centers is converting several of its existing facilities, licensed to operate as Physicians PremiER emergency rooms, to the Ally Medical ER brand. Last year in December 2020, USA Emergency Centers opened its newest location at 8721 Manchaca Road in South Austin, as Ally Medical ER.
“While the freestanding ER segment remains relatively new to Texas, as emergency room physicians ourselves, we believe we’re delivering a model of care that has played a crucial role during the pandemic and offers a new choice for Texans and their families,” said Dr. Kenter.
