U.S. Dermatology Partners Cedar Park, formerly Lone Star Dermatology, announces its relocation to a new office with expanded services and space.
The new facility is conveniently located in the heart of the Cedar Park healthcare district at 1515 Medical Pkwy., Suite 100, Cedar Park, TX 78613, just 3 minutes away from the current office. The new facility will feature many amenities to improve the patient experience including a more user-friendly layout with wider hallways and easier access.
Additionally, patients will enjoy 15 patient treatment rooms, a significant increase from the 10 currently available, which will allow for more efficiency and room to expand service offerings in the future. The new office location will begin seeing patients on Monday, June 15, 2020.
Patients at the new office will have access to the same great care from the experienced practitioners they have come to trust including Aubrey Chad Hartmann, M.D., Laura Lester, M.D., Jessica Dorsey, M.D., Weilan Johnson, M.D., Russell Peckham, D.O., Josh Embry, PA-C, Kelly Webb, PA-C and aesthetician Anna Marie Slater.
“Our office has proudly served the residents of Cedar Park, Leander, and the surrounding communities since 2003. We are happy to be able to provide an expanded facility to better serve the growing needs of our valued patients,” said Dr. Aubrey Chad Hartmann. The new office has 9,750 SF of space, which includes 15 exam rooms in a modern, updated, and bright space. The new office includes expanded cosmetic services, a dedicated phototherapy space, and an exclusive on-site Mohs wing with a dedicated Mohs waiting area. Patients also have access to more convenient parking, enabling curbside check-in and parking lot waiting areas to help keep patients safe and promote social distancing, decreasing the possible risk or spread of COVD-19.
The facility includes a full menu of services including general dermatology, surgical dermatology, Mohs Surgery for skin cancer removal, cosmetic dermatology, and aesthetic procedures. Mohs Surgery is considered the most effective technique for treating basal cell carcinomas and squamous cell carcinomas, the two most common types of skin cancer. Mohs Surgery allows for the removal of all cancerous cells while sparing healthy tissue and leaving the smallest possible scar. “It is commonly recommended for skin cancers in cosmetically sensitive and functionally important areas on the face, scalp, fingers, toes or genitals, and for large, aggressive or rapidly growing cancers.” said Dr. Jessica Dorsey. Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT) is also offered as a treatment for actinic keratosis, sometimes referred to as “pre-cancers.”
