The Veterinary Cooperative (TVC) is excited to announce a new leader, Carol Henry. Ms. Henry comes to TVC with a variety of perspectives from veterinary, technology and gaming industries. She was previously the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at National Veterinary Associates (NVA). She started her new role as President on January 1st 2020. TVC’s previous President, Allison McDermott, will remain at TVC and will be moving into a different role, leading an expanding array of events at TVC.
TVC provides independent veterinary clinics purchasing power, education, and other resources that help them compete more effectively. TVC has gone from a membership of four in 2012 and has grown exponentially to a membership of over 4000 independent clinics across the United States. Allison McDermott states “Carol has been with our organization since the spring of 2019. She brings a fierce work ethic and knowledge that makes me excited to see where she will take TVC. She has a strong vision that will continue to make TVC thrive, grow, and build new dimensions.”
TVC is an organization of 15 dedicated passionate staff. Ms. Henry originally joined the TVC team as the VP of Marketing and Operations. “TVC is an amazing organization that supports the independent vet. I am excited to identify new opportunities and help them be evermore successful in an increasingly competitive industry” Ms. Henry shared.
TVC’s goal is to have the same purchasing power and marketing prowess as the big box stores by growing to 5,000 independent animal hospitals that would have sales and purchasing power equal or greater than these corporate competitors. TVC is a positive cooperative community of veterinarians and suppliers, who share a vision to provide the best animal care through independent veterinary practices, mutually benefiting all who do business with the Cooperative.
