As summer draws to a close and the impending flu season approaches, Tolk Wellness Center is expanding its team of holistic healthcare providers to prepare for a potential second wave of COVID-19. In addition to the recent hiring of an experienced naturopathic doctor, Dr. Keith Yimoyines, ND., the Tolk Wellness Staff is set to add several new members to its team, including nurse practitioners, physical therapists, acupuncturists, massage therapists and more. As it approaches its fourth decade in business, Tolk Wellness Center has steadily established itself as the premier holistic wellness provider in the Farmington area.
While a majority of Connecticut school districts will reopen this week under a hybrid or fully remote-learning schedule until additional data is available, an alarming number of districts are opting for fully in-person learning to resume immediately, raising concern amongst residents. As a result, it is vitally important to boost and support the immune system with preventative measures often prescribed by the Tolk Doctors.
“With uncertain times ahead, it’s more important than ever to take preventative health measures to keep you and your family safe,” says Dr. David Tolk, DC. of Tolk Wellness Center. “Focus on the aspects you can control, such as keeping your immune system strong with a balanced diet, incorporating regular exercise and applying the appropriate natural treatments when necessary.”
For the duration of quarantine, Tolk Wellness Center will also continue to host free online webinars to empower and educate Connecticut’s residents on a myriad of health-related topics.
