Student Assistance Programs & Training Services to Host Virtual Event Highlighting the Importance of Mental Health Resources for Students

Exploring the options available for students in K-12 schools and higher education to receive services through educational institutions through impactful discussion, Student Assistance Programs hopes to maintain mental health equity and accessibility in education.

Student Assistance Programs and Training Services (SAP/TS), an Arizona-based company that provides mental health and counseling services to students across the U.S., announced today that it is hosting a group of experts ranging from national education experts to world-renowned neuropsychologists to discuss the gap between education and mental health programs and resources.

Despite the presence of this gap prior to the pandemic, the current circumstances have heightened emotions, increasing concern for students’ mental health and the quality of services available.

Moderated by Tyson Milanovich, Executive Producer from Arizona’s Family 3TV & CBS 5, the panel will be held on Tuesday, October 13 at 4:30 p.m. (MST) and 6:30 p.m. (CT). Panelists for the event include:
