Stayhealthy has announced that it is partnering with Dr. Judy Ho, the highly respected clinical and forensic neuropsychologist, media personality and author, on a new campaign to support the company’s healthcare platforms for children and adults. The initiative will focus on promoting Stayhealthy’s apps including Color Quest AR, Body Fact Index, and OWL (Own Your Wellness and Living) and supporting content across social and traditional media.
“We are both honored and excited to be joining forces with Dr. Judy,” stated Ziggy Kormandel, Stayhealthy’s President. “She is such a highly respected voice in the healthcare conversation today and shares a common passion with us to address wellness from a highly practical point of view. Through her television and radio appearances—like on ‘The Doctors’, CNN, and ‘Doctor Drew’—as well as through her books and teaching career—she has dedicated herself as a mental health professional to helping individuals and families live healthier, less stressful lives.”
“I’m impressed with what the Stayhealthy team has accomplished with healthcare education that is science-backed,” observed Dr. Judy. “The company’s platforms have been developed with engagement and retention in mind and offer evidence supported, practical tips that people can really use in their daily lives. The work that they are doing to address the epidemic of excess body fat squarely fits with what I’ve also witnessed during the course of my career as a primary cause of many chronic diseases. I am truly looking forward to working with their team to get this critical message out.”
“Dr. Judy Ho is not only an award-winning professional, but a media star,” added John Collins, CEO of Stayhealthy. “She brings her acclaimed expertise along with an understanding that technology and media are key to educating and engaging the public how to take control of their own health and wellness. Her dedication to at-risk youth and prevention through her STAGES non-profit aligns with our mission to intervene at the earliest stages of children’s lives to make a difference in their future well-being, and to reduce their lifetime healthcare costs.”
Dr. Judy Ho is a triple board-certified and licensed Clinical and Forensic Neuropsychologist who maintains a private practice in Los Angeles and is a tenured Associate Professor of Psychology at Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. Dr. Judy’s consulting includes two research fellowships supported by the National Institute of Mental Health, as a neuropsychological educator and trainer for Centers for Disease Control’s Legacy Project, and as a consulting neuropsychologist for Kaiser Permanente. Her book, Stop Self-Sabotage, which details an evidence-based six step program to help people unlock their motivation, harness their willpower, and change unhealthy habits; was published by HarperCollins in August 2020 and available wherever books are sold and has already been translated into seven other languages.
