Planet Gymnastics raises funds to support the Dana Farber Cancer Institute

Each year, Planet Gymnastics of Natick holds a Cartwheel-a-thon fundraiser to raise money for a local charity. This year, our charity of choice was the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dana-Farber Cancer Institute provides expert, compassionate, and equitable care to children, adults and their families, while advancing the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, cure and prevention of cancer and related diseases.

The participants at Planet Gymnastics gathered donations in two ways, pledging a dollar amount per cartwheel completed within 1 minute or a flat rate donation. Each participating gymnast who got “dizzy for donations” received a certificate for their contribution and efforts.

We are proud to announce that we raised a grand total of $19307.79 for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute! A special shout out goes to Noel Drummy, our top fundraiser, who raised an amazing $858. Thank you to all of our athletes, staff, friends and families who supported this year’s Carthwheel-a-thon and supported this meaningful fundraising mission.
