Tamworth Family Support Services has selected Penelope case management software to track client information and improve service delivery.

Athena Software is pleased to announce that Tamworth Family Support Services (TFSS) has selected Penelope case management software to help track and manage the essential services they provide to their New South Wales community.

TFSS is a non-government, community-based organisation that’s been delivering vital services to individuals and families in Tamworth and the surrounding area for more than 30 years.

The organisation’s values of diversity, integrity, community, leadership, and partnership, are put into action by their mission of strengthening and improving social and personal well-being for individuals, families, and communities, promoting and facilitating access, equality, and social justice, and delivering services of quality and value.

Since 1979, TFSS has been providing practical assistance and related support to disadvantaged families to help them cope better with stress and crisis situations, while also building and maintaining community service system networks, planning and supporting community-building events, and advocating on issues of community and social justice.

Their Family Services program welcomes families and young people of all cultural backgrounds and includes Family Support services, including advocacy, information and referral, and home visits, as well as a variety of youth programs and parenting groups.

The organisation also provides Children’s Services, including early intervention and maternal home visiting programs, Children and Parenting Support, and Children’s Contact Services, while also offering an extensive range of homelessness services and programs for survivors of domestic violence.

TFSS selected Penelope after a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) process that outlined the need for an operational client management software solution that could provide a one-stop system to track all streams of work at the organisation.
