ASIPP looks forward to presenting a full-day track that educates frontline practitioners on the development and practice of safe, high quality, and cost-effective interventional pain management techniques.

PAINWeek, now in its 14th year, is the largest US pain conference for frontline practitioners. This year, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) is pleased to present—for the first time—a full day track at the PAINWeek National Conference on Thursday, September 10. The conference, convening at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, September 8-12, offers a multidisciplinary faculty and diverse curriculum in acute, behavioral, and interventional pain management; chronic pain syndromes; medical/legal issues; neurology; palliative care; pharmacotherapy, and physical therapy along with over 30 Special Interest Sessions.

The American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians is a not-for-profit organization representing interventional pain physicians across the country. The organization has been growing rapidly since 1998 and has had a substantial impact on the practice of interventional pain medicine.

Debra Weiner, Executive Vice President, Program Development, remarked, “We are very pleased to welcome the ASIPP to PAINWeek. Given the evolving landscape of pain management, there is a large and growing interest among practitioners to learn more about alternatives to nonpharmacologic treatments for their chronic pain patients.”

Mayank Gupta, MD, CEO and President of the Kansas Society of Interventional Pain Physicians said, “ASIPP looks forward to presenting a full-day program that educates frontline practitioners on the development and practice of safe, high quality, and cost-effective interventional pain management techniques.” Topics will include evidence-based rationale for interventional procedures, minimally invasive interventions for lumbar spinal stenosis, regenerative therapies for chronic pain, diagnostic injections, and best practices for identifying patients for interventional procedures.
