Odoro, developer of the next generation digital patient access platform (DPAP), today announced a new partnership with SLUCare Physician Group, the academic medical practice of Saint Louis University. SLUCare has selected Odoro’s DPAP solution to simplify processes for patients by digitizing registration and self check-in for appointments at their new state-of-the-art physicians office building, which will open on August 31.
Odoro’s Digital Patient Access Platform (DPAP) offers patients a complete digital, fast, and easy-to-use registration and check-in experience. The DPAP solution will allow SLUCare to automate and customize manual front-office workflows, to streamline the check-in process, minimize onsite activity and reduce waiting room times.
“Slow check-in processes, and long wait times are some of patients’ biggest complaints”, said Ohad Ranen, Co-founder and CEO of Odoro. “Our new partnership with SLUCare will help solve these problems and transform the patient care delivery model. Patients will receive a stress-free, quick paperless experience, while administrative staff will save valuable time.”
From the comfort of their homes where information is handy, patients will be able to digitally fill out consent forms, provide insurer information or complete financial payments prior to arrival for their medical appointments.
The system will be piloted at multiple practice sites before it is launched at SLUCare’s new physician office building. As part of this patient-centric approach, SLUCare is looking to expand their digital solutions, including integrating provider search with online scheduling capabilities, in the coming future.
“Patients are expecting faster and more convenient care, and we are excited to offer our patients an easy way to complete their registration for SLUCare appointments,” said Matt Zimmie, M.D., SLUCare chief medical information officer. “We see this service as an important component to putting our patients first in all we do.”
SLUCare and Odoro were introduced to one another through the St. Louis-based organization, GlobalSTL, an initiative of BioSTL that recruits high-growth companies from around the world to enrich and grow St. Louis’s innovation economy.
Odoro’s CEO and Co-founder, Ohad Ranen, and team will be available to demo the DPAP solution at HIMSS 2020.
