With pet owners increasingly turning online to find and research pet care providers, the 2022 report found that veterinary practices were following suit, to great success. Even in the midst of a global pandemic, mandatory closures, and client safety concerns, LifeLearn found that:

  • 51% of respondents reported annual practice revenue of over $1,000,000 in 2021.
  • Despite soaring profits, staffing was ranked as top challenge for 78% of practices struggling to keep up with demand heading into 2022.
  • Responses from top performing practices who managed to achieve success while avoiding burnout revealed an early adopter mindset towards digital technology and automation in their practices.
