Amethyst Skincare makes its debut today as the FIRST skin care line created for the sole purpose of protecting the skin from the declining environment. The brand launches with three essential products: Daily Nutrition Facial Oil, Nightly AOX Micro Peel and Daily Airborne Pollution and Smog Neutralizer. The brainchild of beauty veteran, Nicole Simpson, Amethyst was formulated to nourish and protect the skin from environmental stressors such as pollution, UV exposure, ground-level ozone, and stress.

Just like the Amethyst stone is known for its healing properties, Amethyst Beauty uses potent ingredients and an innovative delivery system to heal the skin by restoring the skin barrier while also arming it with the basic needs to neutralize all the environment’s free radicals. The paraben, gluten and cruelty-free products designed to act as a supplement to everyday skincare, includes:


  •     Daily Nutrition Facial Oil ($75): Formulated with a proprietary blend of jasmine, neroli, and marula oils helps manage skin discoloration and protect against pollution-related aging, hormonal aging, and environmental stress. Infused with vitamin E to protect the skin against pollution, ground-level ozone and UV, as well as Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids.

  •     Daily Airborne Pollution and Smog Neutralizer ($34): This nutrient-dense hydrating protective spray combines vitamin C and niacinamide with vitamins B5, E, A, and a proprietary pollution-neutralizing botanical complex of super antioxidants. They work synergistically to neutralize the free radicals created from the many different types of pollutants we encounter on our skin each day – including ground-level ozone, superoxide, nitrous-oxide and others.

  •     Nightly AOX Micro peel ($85): This unprecedented combination of glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and retinol in one formula boosts cell turnover and collagen production while r-lipoic acid re-energizes cells from the inside out. Discolorations are lightened, wrinkles are smoothed, radiance is boosted, and free radicals removed from lack of sleep and environmental exposure. It also helps prepare skin for enhanced penetration of other skincare products and active ingredients.


Amethyst is committed to being environmentally conscious in its formulation, packaging and production. To reduce stress on environmental resources most of the products are in glass containers and are created with reduced water use. While more than 85 percent of beauty products are not recyclable, Amethyst products are 100 percent recyclable and the brand will provide customers with the opportunity to mail back empty bottles to ensure they are properly disposed.

Founder and creator of Amethyst Skincare, Nicole Simpson, is a biochemist, medical aesthetician, educator and 15-year beauty veteran. With a deep passion for beauty, Nicole has been formulating skin care since she was a teenager.
