NCPDP Reports Election Results for its Board of Trustees

This will be an especially important year as we begin to execute on NCPDP’s new, Three-Year Strategic Plan and, at the same time, remain flexible and nimble to do our part in addressing emerging patient safety and industry needs, particularly in these challenging times.

NCPDP has elected its 2020-2021 Board of Trustees. The new Board members will assume their roles at the Meeting of the NCPDP Board of Trustees on Wednesday, May 6, 2020.

Election Results – Newly Elected Board Members:

  • Pooja Babbrah, M.B.A., PBM Practice Lead, Point-of-Care Partners, newly elected to the Board of Trustees.
  • Morgan Bojorquez, Director, Pharmacy Clinical Integration, Humana, newly elected to the Board of Trustees.
  • Darren K. Townzen, R.Ph., M.B.A., Director of Billing, Reconciliation, & Healthcare Data, Walmart, newly elected to the Board of Trustees.

Board of Trustees members who will continue to serve in 2020-2021 include: Michele Vilaret Davidson, R.Ph., NSC, Senior Manager, Pharmacy Technical Standards, Development & Policy, Walgreen Co.; Mark Gingrich, M.S., Chief Information Officer, Surescripts; Gregory (Greg) S. Kaupp, J.D., MPA, MLT, President & CEO, Kaupp Advisors; Perry Lewis, Advisor, ExactCare; Christian Tadrus, R.Ph., Pharm.D., FASCP, AE-C, NSC, Pharmacist Provider, Independent Pharmacist; and Gregory (Greg) Watanabe, R.Ph., MBA, Independent Consultant.

Outgoing Board members: William J. (Bill) Barre, R.Ph., Chief Innovation Officer, Achieve Health Management; and Alan K. Gardner, MBA, Senior Vice President, Operations, RxResults, LLC.
