Modern Audiology Welcomes Experienced Audiologist

Modern Audiology is welcoming Rebecca A. DeWitt, Au.D. to their team of exceptional audiologists. Dr. DeWitt will be practicing at both the Centennial and Lakewood Modern Audiology offices.

Dr. DeWitt provides expertise in the diagnostic and treatment of hearing conditions in both pediatric and adult patients. She provides tinnitus evaluation and treatment, BPPV (benign paroxysmal vertigo) assessment, CRP (canalith repositioning) procedure, cerumen (wax removal) management, comprehensive auditory evaluation, hearing aid consultation, fitting and repair, and custom ear molds.

“Helping people to hear better and getting their quality of life back is not just my job, it’s my passion. I want my patients to truly understand their diagnosis and treatment plan. Education is critical, so they not only understand their hearing loss, but can also make an informed decision,” says Dr. DeWitt.

Dr. DeWitt is originally from Michigan, but has called Colorado home for the past six years. She earned her bachelor’s degree and doctoral degree from Central Michigan University and completed her residency training at the Durham VA Medical Center in North Carolina.

In her free time, Dr. DeWitt enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, who also happens to be an audiologist and their son. The family enjoys traveling and exploring all of the great outdoor activities the Rocky Mountains have to offer.
