Amidst uncertainty during the pandemic, Meridian Senior Living’s more than 75 communities across the nation aim to bring joy to their towns by running a rock hunt contest to generate community enthusiasm. Residents and staff members will decorate and add hashtags to river rocks before they are hidden in the vicinity outside their buildings in socially distanced areas. Starting on September 16th, communities will provide photos of these hidden rocks along with hints on the community Facebook page to encourage participation. From September 16th – 30th, contest participants can search for these hidden rocks and post photos of them on the community Facebook page along with #MSLRocks and the community’s hashtag in the caption. Each rock found and posted counts as an entry into a drawing for a prize at the Meridian community on October 1st. The contest is open to anyone who wants to “rock it” and have fun.
