Villas Holly Brook Marshall Staff Relieved to Get the Vaccine

On December 23, 2020, staff members at Villas of Holly Brook Marshall, an assisted living community operated by national seniors housing company Meridian Senior Living (Meridian), received the company’s first COVID-19 vaccines. This monumental event marks the beginning of Meridian’s journey in vaccinating residents and employees at their more than 75 communities across the United States.

Villas of Holly Brook Marshall partnered with CVS Pharmacy and Clark County Health Department to distribute and administer the COVID-19 vaccine for healthcare workers. In Martinsville, IL, the Clark County Health Department offered the vaccination clinic between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on December 23, 2020. Several staff members from Villas of Holly Brook Marshall received the first of two vaccines, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to providing a safe environment for their residents.

As part of the U.S. Government’s Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program, residents and staff members at long-term care communities will have access to the vaccine over the upcoming weeks in the first phase of distribution. Access to the COVID-19 vaccine will add one more preventative measure to Meridian’s commitment to the safety and well-being of residents and employees in its communities.
