The Wellbeing Elixier wellness course for educators

Magna Publications, a company helping equip educators and leaders with the newest thinking in teaching and educational development, has just released The Wellbeing Elixir hybrid course, the only wellbeing program created specifically for higher education faculty and staff. Featuring educators from around the world, this Magna Online Course helps higher education professionals address wellbeing and resilience in both their professional and personal lives.

The Wellbeing Elixir course combines asynchronous learning with live, monthly group meetings via Zoom, where participants will have the opportunity to interact, ask questions, and share experiences with other educators and course creators.

This in-depth, six-unit Magna Online Course will explore several concepts, including self-care strategies to improve the mind, body, and spirit, how to contribute to a more joyful workplace, exploring what gives their lives meaning, and more.

“It’s crucial to pay attention to your physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual wellbeing,” said President of Magna Publications, Bill Haight. “Faculty and academic burnout has never been more prevalent and it’s certainly a heavy burden to bear. We hope The Wellbeing Elixir can help educators, leaders, professionals, and ultimately, anyone find wellness, resilience, and joy in their lives—we want participants to know they are not alone.”

The Wellbeing Elixir features transcripts, supplementary materials, assignments, and reflection questions to further enhance learning, as well as a certificate of completion. Participants will have access to all course materials for a full year so they can revisit and refresh their learning throughout their wellness goal journey.
