Volunteer pilot Robby Hill prepares to fly COVID19 supplies

All of us know somebody that has been affected by COVID-19. I think it’s really important that we help distribute the vaccine as fast as possible so our friends and family can see relief from this awful disease

As the number of positive COVID-19 cases continues to rise across the nation and in Florence, local businessman and city council candidate Robby Hill took some time off from his campaign to use his personal aircraft to help deliver COVID-19 vaccines to those in need.

“All of us know somebody that has been affected by COVID-19. I think it’s really important that we help distribute the vaccine as fast as possible so our friends and family can see relief from this awful disease,” said Robby Hill, whose grandfather and other family members have recently been diagnosed with COVID.

Robby partnered with the organization Angel Flight Soars, a charity that offers free transportation to those in desperate need of medical treatment. On Sunday, Dec. 27th, Robby flew a shipment of the vaccine to Asheville, NC, where it was transported to Nashville for delivery to patients.
