Legion, the AI-powered workforce management company redefining how enterprise companies manage and empower their hourly workforces, today announced that the Legion WFM platform was named a 2021 SIIA CODiE Award finalist in the Best Artificial Intelligence (AI) Driven Technology Solution category. Finalists represent the best products, technologies, and services in software, information, and business technology.

Legion WFM enables employers to optimize their labor efficiency through AI-powered demand forecasting, labor optimization, automated scheduling, and time and attendance. At the same time, employers can offer an enhanced hourly employee experience with schedules that better match employees’ preferences, gig-like flexibility, and modern digital tools. The platform has been an invaluable resource during COVID-19, enabling employers to operate with greater agility in the face of constantly changing demand, health mandates, and employee availability. Employers quickly filled coverage gaps, shared employees across locations, and implemented healthy worker protocols – using Legion AI-powered WFM.

“Legion is transforming workforce management with our AI-powered Legion WFM platform, delivering unprecedented savings and value to employers while simultaneously improving the lives of their hourly workers. And with our latest round of funding, we plan to further accelerate our pace of innovation in AI-powered workforce management,” said Sanish Mondkar, founder and CEO, Legion Technologies. “We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished to date and are honored to have the Legion WFM platform recognized as a finalist by SIIA and our industry peers.”

The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry’s only peer-recognized awards program. Business technology leaders, including senior executives, analysts, media, consultants and investors evaluate assigned products during the first-round review. Their scores determine the SIIA CODiE Award finalists, which accounts for 80% of the overall score. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Business Technology category winners will be announced during an online winner announcement celebration on June 22, 2021.
