KanTime, a leader in the post-acute EMR space with a strong presence in the Electronic Visit Verification arena, adds Ohio to its growing list of states where it is an approved EVV vendor. As the CURES Act continues to mandate more states to adopt EVV, KanTime has made it a priority to become an alternate EVV provider in all open states so that post acute care providers can utilize one platform to manage everything from intake and scheduling all the way to billing and collections.
KanTime has achieved EVV certification as an alternate EVV provider or is integrated with the State mandated vendor in the following states: Ohio, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, and Texas. The company plans to add New York and Arizona to its list in the coming months.
KanTime’s EVV module meets Federal requirements and captures all the required information including type of service performed, the record of the individual receiving the service, date of service provided, location of service delivery, staff providing the service, and the start and end times of the service. Thousands of caregivers utilize the KanTime Mobile application, available online and offline, to easily capture all required EVV information and more such as the geolocation, client signature, tasks performed, and client voice recordings (optional).
Sherry, Area Manager at Home Health Care by Callos in Ohio, recently shared, “We love KanTime EVV, it manages all of the rules and regulations, allowing us to work with far fewer types of exceptions. This has significantly reduced the administrative burden seen with other solutions. The KanTime Mobile app can be configured to require a beneficiary signature before the note is submitted and has so many more features that help us be more efficient in our care delivery.”
As states continue to adopt and mature their EVV programs KanTime will continue to take a leadership role in keeping customers in alignment with those changes. Robert Dean, KanTime’s EVP of Sales stated, “Our customers are in the business of delivering world-class healthcare. They have come to depend on KanTime as their partner in navigating the ever-changing requirements landscape.”
