I am humbled and excited to have such industry innovators and strategic thinkers join our already impressive growing group of retired HHS-OIG Special Agents, which started with Eric Rubenstein and Wade McFaul.

Advize Health LLC, a national healthcare consulting company offering high quality solutions and tech-enabled services, announced today the addition of two foremost retired law enforcement officers and prior senior leaders of the Unified Program Integrity Contractor (UPIC) East and West Coast. Jaysen Eisengrein, former Senior Vice President of UPIC Western Jurisdiction and Matt Kochanski, former Program Director, of UPIC Northeast Jurisdiction.

Program integrity efforts are led by CEO Jeanmarie Loria, along with other Directors and Senior Managers, many of whom are former Office of Inspector General Investigators, Special Agents in Charge, Medicaid Fraud Control Unit Investigators, and senior investigators and managers of commercial health plan Special Investigation Units (SIU). Through Advize’s industry-leading staff augmentation services, clients gain a partner to drive industry best practices and increase quality while reducing costs and risk.

“Since 2002, Advize’s stellar reputation has created relationships and partnerships across the healthcare market segment continuum, from government to private industry,” said Jeanmarie Loria, CEO. “I am humbled and excited to have such industry innovators and strategic thinkers join our already impressive growing group of retired HHS-OIG Special Agents, which started with Eric Rubenstein and Wade McFaul.”

Eisengrein has over 40 years of experience fighting fraud, waste, and abuse through investigation and audit of complex financial and health programs, particularly relating to Medicare and Medicaid. As Special Agent in Charge of the Special Investigations Branch at the Office of Inspector General’s Office of Investigations (Washington, DC, headquarters), Eisengrein managed and handled the most complex and politically sensitive criminal, civil, and administrative investigations. In his previous position with the UPIC, Eisengrein developed and led the CMS Medicaid Integrity contracts across 34 states and the District of Columbia. Most recently, Eisengrein implemented and led UPIC West, which mitigates Medicare and Medicaid fraud and abuse for all settings of care and provider types across 13 Western states and 3 Pacific territories through investigation and audit of paid claims.

Kochanski has three decades of experience in program integrity, including over 25 years in the Office of Inspector General community with Health and Human Services (HHS) and NASA. Kochanski investigated or directed hundreds of investigations resulting in criminal convictions and the return of hundreds of millions of dollars to the impacted programs. As the Program Director of the Northeastern UPIC, he directed the administration of a multi-million dollar contract that spans 12 States and multiple Federal and State health care programs.
