We started Inito to provide couples with a more accurate look at what’s happening with their unique cycle and actionable data to help them get pregnant faster.

Inito, a first-of-it’s-kind home fertility test, announced its launch to the U.S. market. The Inito device, paired with a smartphone app, is the first and only at-home test that measures the actual hormone values for estrogen, luteinizing hormone and progesterone, and gives users data to guide decisions through the conception process.

In addition to the U.S. launch, Inito is also launching a new Hormone Charts feature in the app allowing users to see an actual chart of their hormone levels. This will provide actionable data they can share with their doctor for a deeper look into how their hormones are trending so they can suggest the right treatment options.

“Abnormalities such as frequent anovulatory cycles, shorter luteal phase and low levels of progesterone can easily go unnoticed without monitoring with expensive and invasive lab tests,” said Dr. Kim Langdon, Advisor to Inito.

Traditional ovulation tests predict fertile days, but don’t test for progesterone to tell users if they actually ovulate. This approach is missing the mark for many as non-ovulation is the number one cause of infertility, with up to 37 percent of cycles not resulting in ovulation. Traditionally, the only option for a progesterone test has been an expensive blood test in the lab.

Inito is the only ovulation test that measures estrogen and luteinizing hormone levels to predict fertile days, and progesterone to confirm if ovulation has actually occurred.

At-home ovulation tests usually give results with a simple yes or no, which may be accurate if the hormones fall in the average range. Every woman is unique, especially with a condition like PCOS which can influence hormone levels. Inito measures the actual value of hormones in the body and offers personalized results to help users more accurately track what’s happening with their unique cycle.

“Nearly half of the women have experienced hormonal imbalance making it incredibly difficult to conceive,” said Varun AV, Co-Founder of Inito. “We started Inito to provide couples with a more accurate look at what’s happening with their unique cycle and actionable data to help them get pregnant faster.”

Inito has already collected over 1 million hormone values with its users in Asia. With the U.S. launch, the company aims to expand its footprint and help more couples to conceive globally.
