Health Connect America Celebrates New Services and Brings New Jobs to Johnson City

[ad_1]

Health Connect America (HCA), a provider of mental and behavioral health services, plans to hire additional staff in recognition of its growth and increased service offerings in the Johnson City area. The local office provides Intensive In-Home services for children and families in need of stabilization, Intensive Outpatient therapy for co-occurring substance abuse and mental health diagnosis and is a Tennessee Health Link provider. HCA is planning an ABA Clinic Services for children with Autism.

On November 14, 2022, at 10 am EST HCA’s Johnson City office is partnering with the Chamber of Commerce and celebrating its growth and variety of new services with a ribbon cutting.

“Northeastern Tennessee is an important market area for HCA,” says Kristi Shain, president and chief executive officer, Health Connect America. “Services designed for the needs of each community we serve are the key to our commitment to offer this underserved population a higher level of care. This will be a great opportunity for those seeking employment and/or our wide range of services to celebrate this new chapter with the Johnson City Community!”

The existing range of programs help adults, children, adolescents and families find hope and healing from traumatic events and supports with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These programs are designed to address issues like grief, anger management, family issues, substance use, autism diagnoses and intellectual disabilities. Individuals are offered the support they need to help improve the lives of children, adults and their families.

“Our projected growth not only benefits the community by serving more clients, but also creates more jobs in the area,” says Dave Krikac, vice president of operations for Health Connect America. “The variety of programs available will allow treatment to be individually tailored to client needs, legal requirements for individuals, and overall community enhancement.”

The In-Home Services program continues to grow and evolve, requiring ongoing hiring to meet community needs. The availability of these programs will increase access to resources for clients with the highest level of need. This will also decrease wait times between a need being identified and care being provided.
