“Zscaler’s market-leading technology adds to the Granite Guardian portfolio, so we can offer our business and government customers a cloud-based firewall as a service to enable secure work from anywhere.”
QUINCY, Mass. (PRWEB)
July 07, 2021
Granite Telecommunications, a $1.65 billion provider of communications services to multilocation businesses and government agencies, announced the expansion of its Granite Guardian portfolio of managed network and security services to include Zero-Trust Cloud Security Services powered by Zscaler Inc.
Granite’s new service is made possible through a strategic partnership with cloud security leader Zscaler, which operates the Zero Trust Exchange, a cloud-native platform that leverages Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) to securely connect users, apps, and devices over any network, in any location. Under the partnership, Granite will deliver Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) standalone or in combination with Granite’s managed network services.
“Zscaler’s market-leading technology adds to the Granite Guardian portfolio, so we can offer our business and government customers a cloud-based firewall as a service to enable secure work from anywhere,” said Granite CIO Chris Chapin. “Plus, Zscaler applies business policies to increase user productivity, reduce business risk, slash costs and simplify IT for our customers.”
Granite Guardian’s Zero-Trust Cloud Security Services powered by Zscaler are ideal for businesses that have remote employees, multiple locations, use Microsoft 365 or other cloud apps. It’s also compelling for organizations migrating applications to the cloud, planning a merger or acquisition, or finding security to be unmanageable. In addition, Zscaler ZIA and ZPA are FedRAMP certified, so they are a good fit for government agencies.
