With older adults susceptible to COVID-19, the risks are high with a hospital visit for Medicare patients.

Companies like Teladoc offering telemedicine services have seen a stock surge in the last week. Telemedicine visits are indeed a great way to minimize exposure, evaluate, and treat from the comfort of one’s home.

The novel Coronavirus is similar to influenza in how it is transmitted (airborne), how symptoms manifest, and the fear it stirs.
