HumankindNOW announced today the hiring of Fynn Rorris as Director of Development to lead the non-profit’s sponsorship and fundraising efforts. Rorris’ role will include securing foundation and corporate donations, growing partnerships, and driving fundraising campaigns. This critical role will help HumankindNOW meet the increasing demand for personal protective equipment, affordable COVID-19 testing, and mental health support services for front line healthcare workers in small businesses and underprivileged communities.
Fynn Rorris brings ten years of proven experience in fundraising and humanitarian relief. Most recently Rorris worked for the American Red Cross of Greater New York, building donor relationships, leading large fundraising campaigns, and organizing volunteer programs. Rorris has also held senior fundraising positions at LifeServe Blood Center and Stockton University.
“Since March 2020, HumankindNOW has protected 11,500 front line healthcare workers through the procurement and delivery of critical PPE; however, as the United States braces for a new wave of COVID-19 cases, supply chains remain constrained, leaving many healthcare workers with limited access to critical supplies and essential services,” said Chi-Chao Chang, Chairperson and CEO of HumankindNOW. “Having someone of Fynn’s caliber join our team will help us develop partnerships and drive fundraising campaigns to help us meet the increasing demand for our services.”
