PracticeLink Live! Seattle Physician Career Fair will take place Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at The Hilton Seattle. The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. and continue until 8:00 p.m. A free, optional seminar for job-seeking physicians, residents and fellows, When to Do What in Your Job Search, will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Both the career fair and seminar are open to residents and fellows, as well as practicing physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The casual, family-friendly environment provides a chance for physicians and advanced practice providers to connect with recruiters and find the best fit for their first or next practice. According to the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, Washington has 1,806 residents and 363 fellows for the 2019-2020 academic year and offers 82 specialty and 93 subspecialty programs. Washington area institutions, such as The Doctor’s Clinic, UW Medicine Valley Medical Center, Evergreen Health, and MultiCare Health System, will exhibit at the career fair alongside organizations from across the country, including Adventist Health, Billings Clinic, and Southcentral Foundation.
