Achelous Partners, LLC is pleased to announce that Dr. Stephan Wnendt and Dr. Katja Neuer have been appointed as European Representatives. Dr. Wnendt and Dr. Neuer are both based in Germany, which is one of Achelous Partners’ fastest growing markets in Europe.

“Both Dr. Wnendt and Dr. Neuer have significant expertise in the life science sector and have developed client relationships built on over 25 years in the industry. Achelous Partners has completed a number of transactions throughout Germany over the past several years, including for our clients MLM MedicalLabs GmbH, NovaTech Immundiagnostica, LifeCodexx, and IBL International. Germany is a core growth area for Achelous Partners and we have spent many years building relationships with leading life science companies throughout the region. Dr. Wnendt and Dr. Neuer will significantly bolster our ability to assist our clients in Germany, as well as locate new opportunities globally,” said Mark Saunders, President of Achelous Partners.

Dr. Wnendt and Dr. Neuer join Achelous Partners from MLM Medical Labs GmbH, where Dr. Wnendt served as CEO and Dr. Neuer served as Director of Business Development. MLM is a central laboratory dedicated exclusively to clinical trials. During their tenure, MLM grew organically into a highly profitable central lab with double digit revenue and a highly diversified global client base. Achelous Partners advised MLM on its sale to the US based life science focused private equity fund, Great Point Partners, during 2019.
