Dr. Alexandra Chaux of Chaux Physical Therapy is proud to announce the release of her new book, “Dr. Chaux Core Wellness System”. This new book covers tips on how to have a healthier core, with a healthier lifestyle. The book illustrated core exercises designed to release the diaphragm, and strengthen the core in a healthier way than sit-ups and other traditional core exercises. Dr. Chaux believes that the core of the human body is the center of an overall healthier person.

As a Dr. of Physical Therapy and an avid yoga practitioner, Dr. Chaux believes that by taking time to practice yoga is a physical therapy technique that provides an additional healing method, especially with a compromised core. She has used her extensive international training with her clients, including the Hypopressive Method, global postural re-education, and conventional Physical Therapy techniques with yoga to help her patients become healthy. With the manual skills she has developed, combined with unique physical therapy treatments, breathing techniques, and yoga, she has created a diverse approach.

Dr. Chaux’s new book, Dr. Chaux Core Wellness System is focused on reprogramming the abdominal muscles with a core workout routine using sequences of Hypopressive exercises. “The book contains many aspects of core strengthening, giving the reader additional tools that will restore health and strength to the core by using the right muscles, effectively and safely,” said Dr. Alexandra Chaux. The exercises described in step-by-step instructions, can help prevent back pain by strengthening it so that it is better protected from injury.

Dr. Chaux is the owner of Chaux Physical Therapy. She uses Manual Therapy, Neuromuscular Re-Education, Hypopressives, and Therapeutic Exercises to help her patients with a range of issues including Breast Cancer Therapy, Postpartum Recovery, and Post-abdominal surgery. She has assisted patients with Balance and Fall Prevention and Pain Management as well using a variety of methods and techniques, with yoga at the center for many of the treatments.

About Dr. Alexandra Chaux of Chaux Physical Therapy

Doctor Alexandra Chaux received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2010 from the A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine, in Mesa, Arizona. She earlier graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Universidad Del Valle, in Cali, Colombia in 2001. She is certified in Therapeutic Hypopressives Level 1 and 2, and Fitness Hypopressive Level 1. She is also a Certified Practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga. Today, she offers a variety of modalities and techniques she learned in Colombia and techniques learned in Spain, and America the past 20 years.
