This new book covers tips on how to have a healthier core, with a healthier lifestyle. The book illustrated core exercises designed to release the diaphragm, and strengthen the core in a healthier way than sit-ups and other traditional core exercises. Dr. Chaux believes that the core of the human body is the center of an overall healthier person.
As a Dr. of Physical Therapy and an avid yoga practitioner, Dr. Chaux believes that by taking time to practice yoga is a physical therapy technique that provides an additional healing method, especially with a compromised core. She has used her extensive international training with her clients, including the Hypopressive Method, global postural re-education, and conventional Physical Therapy techniques with yoga to help her patients become healthy. With the manual skills she has developed, combined with unique physical therapy treatments, breathing techniques, and yoga, she has created a diverse approach.

Dr. Chaux is the owner of Chaux Physical Therapy. Doctor Alexandra Chaux received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2010 from the A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine, in Mesa, Arizona. She earlier graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Universidad Del Valle, in Cali, Colombia in 2001. She is certified in Therapeutic Hypopressives Level 1 and 2, and Fitness Hypopressive Level 1. She is also a Certified Practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga.
