DCA Celebrates its 30th Anniversary with Brand Refresh

Dental Care Alliance (DCA) kicks off its 30th anniversary today with the launch of refreshed brand elements to reflect the strength of the organization and direction for the future.

Founded in 1991 by Dr. Steve Matzkin with two dental practices in Sarasota, FL, DCA has grown to 330 allied practices in 20 states, more than 750 dentists in all specialties and 4,500 employees. It is one of the largest and most diverse Dental Support Organizations in the country. Currently DCA supports 465 general dentists, 75 orthodontists, 75 pediatric dentists, 45 oral surgeons, 40 periodontists and 25 endodontists.

To kick off the 30th anniversary year, DCA is launching an updated logo, brand positioning and website. Building on its name, DCA introduces its supported practices, doctor partners and team members as allies with a shared mission to advance the practice of dentistry. The refreshed brand platform builds on the rich history of the organization and features case studies, testimonials, and success stories paired with a vibrant modern look and a website with an optimized user experience.

“We’re proud of our accomplishments, and of the people who make us who we are. It’s our people who set us apart,” says Jerry Rhodes, DCA’s Chief Executive Officer. “Our allied practices have led the way throughout our history but especially in 2020. Our new brand platform exemplifies this strength. We are pleased to mark 30 years of consistent growth and embark on our fourth decade stronger than ever.”

Throughout 2021, DCA will celebrate its legacy and strength through employee engagement events and activities, the launch of its philanthropic foundation designed to give back to the dental industry and local communities, and the expansion of its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council launched last year.

“We have perfected our ability to support and consistently enable our partners to succeed,” states David Pegg, DCA’s Chief Development Officer. “Our business model is built to handle rapid growth, but we look at every affiliation individually to unlock their unique potential through elevated administrative support, time-tested operational guidance, advanced business analytics and sophisticated marketing strategies. Alliance is not just part of our name, it defines our culture. We are allies. When you have an ally that shares your vision and desire to improve lives, great things happen.”

Over the last 30 years, DCA has consistently evolved and thrived in all market conditions. Despite global challenges in 2020, DCA-supported practices continue to outpace industry performance, and the organization is poised for aggressive growth in 2021 and beyond.

“The launch of our new site and revitalized brand position better demonstrates who we are as an organization – a leader in the industry uniquely positioned to offer our allies growth opportunities not achievable on their own,” shared James Nick, DCA’s Chief Revenue Officer. “Our new branding brings that strength to the forefront and is the foundation for how we will accelerate our growth even further – as allies.”
