The USDA Organic logo now features on products from Danodan Hempworks, a Portland, Ore., company crafting unique full-spectrum, water-soluble hemp tinctures.

The product lineup includes varying strengths for gentle, moderate, and enhanced use to help deal with occasional stress or manage soreness and inflammation from exercise-related activity. It also includes hemp and herb-infused blends to help promote sleep or support a healthy immune system, among other uses.

Danodan has been working toward organic certification for more than a year, an important transition, according to the company. “The USDA … Organic certification ensures we are producing our products in a way the market and our customers can trust,” said Danodan founder Daniel Stoops.

The company’s products can be found in U.S. natural retailers from the east to the west coast. MOM’s Organic Market, for example, an organic grocer with more than 20 locations in six states, has carried Danodan products for more than a year. “Danodan’s commitment to the environment … makes [our] job easier — to know that the end product is clean and safe for consumers and the environment,” said José Vega, regional wellness coordinator for MOM’s.

Danodan employs a patented process to create its tinctures, which results in a product that dissolves easily into liquids. Stoops calls the process “a direct infusion method without the assistance of high heat, pressure, or a solvent like CO2.” The result? “A true whole-plant hemp product with much more than just CBD,” said Stoops.

In addition to the new organic certification, Danodan products are now certified Non-GMO and Gluten Free. “We are happy to see the transition … and look forward to what comes next,” said Vega.
