Daisy Denizard Joins Hawkins Parnell & Young in Chicago

Hawkins Parnell & Young is excited to announce that Daisy Denizard has joined HPY’s Chicago office. Her arrival brings the firm’s number of Illinois-attorneys to 18.

Denizard advises and represents clients in complex litigation, insurance issues, and risk management. She primarily defends corporations in litigation involving mass torts and toxic exposures to asbestos, talcum powder, and a range of chemicals. Over her career she has handled a wide range of high-exposure and high-profile matters, including commercial disputes, business torts, environmental, product liability, cost recovery, and insurance coverage.

Prior to joining HPY, Denizard was an account manager/attorney at Resolute Management, Inc., where she was responsible for asbestos, talc, environmental contamination, and other latent damage claims. In her role she worked closely with dozens of corporations and outside counsel to manage litigation and develop trial strategy nationwide. Due to Daisy’s success in rehabilitating several of the accounts she managed, she was regularly called upon to manage and consult in legal projects and litigation strategy for other subsidiaries of Berkshire Hathaway, Resolute’s parent company.

Denizard received her undergraduate degree from Gannon University in 1996 and her law degree from John Marshall Law School in 2002. She is licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin.
