“Compared to the traditional models of mobile or tent hospitals which are notoriously expensive and difficult to set-up, CT Defense’s flexible mobile infrastructure solutions are designed to directly address the need for speed, efficiency, and lifesaving technology for government organizations.”

CT Defense, a global mobile infrastructure manufacturer, today announced the launch of its U.S. operations following a successful deployment with Florida’s Division of Emergency Management at Winter Haven Hospital to combat the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. As a provider of mobile hospital systems and military support units, the announcement solidifies CT Defense’s global expansion strategy.

“While the world deals with COVID-19, climate change, and a range of other challenges, it’s critical that our first responders and military are able to deploy rapidly in order to save lives,” said Michael Sayre, U.S. President for CT Defense. “Compared to the traditional models of mobile or tent hospitals which are notoriously expensive and difficult to set-up, CT Defense’s flexible mobile infrastructure solutions are designed to directly address the need for speed, efficiency, and lifesaving technology for government organizations.”

The CT Defense product lineup includes specialty vehicles offering sophisticated, next-generation solutions for military, medical and disaster preparedness applications with two models currently in production. Each mobile unit can be deployed in under three hours with as few as two people.

The two models, Mobile Command Units (MCUs) and Mobile Medical Units (MMUs), are designed to be autonomous for up to 20 days in rough and rugged environments, and can operate as easily in a disaster zone as they can in a parking lot. Each model is 100 KM/HR wind-tested, offers lock-down mode, and has 24/7/365 security monitoring.

The MMU is a comprehensive mobile hospital and offers the highest medical standards, military grade chassis, multiple configurations, advanced telemedicine, negative/positive pressure, 1-12 beds (depending on layout) and communication to fleet command.

For military purposes, the MCU is a mobile forward operating base and includes two units designed to work in tandem. Each unit independently supports 20 people for 20 days, is designed to strict military specifications, has undergone comprehensive testing for more than 20 years, and includes optional long haul upgrades and weather modifications.

CT Defense operates globally from five offices in South America (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Mexico City, Mexico) and North America (Los Angeles and Miami and Seattle).
